For the mice, mix up some sweet feed and cement and put out a few bowls. After they eat their fill or get thirsty, they'll head to the water, and won't return.

Really? I am down to try it. One of the fuckers looked me right in the eye when I was laying in bed.....

I was going to set up the bucket trap, but didn't have any anti freeze. I don't want a stinky mess, I wont be back for a couple weeks.

On the 45-70, I really want one specific model that seems to be unobtanium.... Its a pain. I found a local one, but its the trapper model, one less round capacity, shorter barrel and different color stock.....

But I did also get the firepit almost done. Apparently I cant count bricks. :homer:

And winterized the water. Its getting chilly. My low point drain seemed to work, and I did disconnect the lines from the pump too. Fingers crossed. The pumps are kind of expensive fuckers. My sink will still work if I use the old 5 gallon bucket, I hooked that to the "hot" side of the faucet.

Put up the headstones for my old boys, we buried them there.

We used to keep some out around the barn. There was a creek 30 yards or so away. We'd find them about 1/2 way back. It gives new meaning to shiting bricks 😄

I need to go buy a bag of portland. Didn't get to it before we came up this time. Two were dead in traps.

I have 2 loads of rock cong today, one railroad ballast ( 2 1/4"-) and one 5/8 minus with fines for the driveway. I hope they can spread the bigger shit. That stuff does not shovel.

Last weekend I watched Wind River and between that and your post, I didn't know I needed a beaver ventilator until now.

I have seen both of those 🤣 I don't know about the tactical goodies but so far my shoulder hurts after a few rounds and it's awesome.
 
And it's dumping slush right now. Gonna make shoveling even more fun today :lmao:

They grip what's needed just fine :flipoff2:

To keep the water flowing down into the swamp and away from my property.

This is normal flow, during summer it was almost dry behind the dams and backing up the creek
 
Well I planned to build a little pergola next to the fire pit to stand under. I guess I'm a couple days late..... It's nuking snow. I'm the dot I tried to add to the left of leavenworth 🤣

Added a little awning to the bathroom since the door always gets left open.... We will see how long it lasts. Just cheap plastic, but it was on sale for $30. And the door was open again this morning....
