Is this a d60 or a d44?

I've sent this to a few friends, I'm getting mixed answers

Sure looks like the base of the hub fills up the wheel

78 f250 super cab, door tag says 3800lb front, but things can be swapped in 45 years

Is this a d44 or d60?


It's a terrible picture. But the best I can get this lady to get me

Most likely a D44

D44. Thats a spicer D44 lockout, the chrome outer cover for the spicer D60 lockout has a big angled edge on it

Another vote for D44

D60 only came in the F 250 with the snow fighter package. F250 got a leaf sprung D44 with 8lug hubs so it would match the 30spl D60 rear

All F350s 77.5-79 got the high pinion D60. F250s would get the D44, however the Snow Fighter F250s got the D60.
