With how many miles on them?
Depends if you're buying a box truck, service body truck, ambulance or electric/telecom/gas company truck.

It's a 20yo work vehicle. You're not getting low miles without either fairly high idle hours or lot rot.

I intend to do trenches with it. I can't see a plate compactor being better for that.

The other option is welding a square of steel to the foot of one of those pneumatic tampers or a tamping bit on an electric jackhammer.

It will be better than those options.....:lmao:

ebay you "d6 pneumatic tamper"
D9 is the bigger one, but the air valve is undersized since they use the same one for all of them so it doesn't run as fast, a lot heavier but doesn't hit as hard

Do I want this for anything? Fucking furries and their stupidly formatted usernames.

eh, they're okay motors that'll run on trash
just gotta keep the $40 timing belt swapped out periodically
stick it into one of your 2wd subaru pieces of shit with tranny troubles

it probably has a cracked cylinder head because they all do, but it might not be bad enough to warrant any attention

Any RWD trans options that don't involve firing up the Bridgeport?

I'm thinking more like Aerostar.

lol
you'll spend more money on broken parts than fuel, never mind any adapter plate shit
maybe you think you're prepared for driving at a glacial pace, but extremely few people actually are
Stick to 2.3s, got it.
