1959 Chevy Short Bus

1959 Chevy chassis and a Carpenter bus body; pretty good shape.

Purchased it in February 2011 and spent the next two years working on it to get it on the road. It was running and driving really well a couple years ago when I quit driving it. It would take very little to get it back to that condition.

It has the original Chevy 235-6cyl. engine and 4 speed transmission. 89,855 miles on the clock, but the speedometer is not currently working.

Lights, wipers, heater, signals, etc. are all in working condition.

It has the hard to find 22.5 wheels, which are powder coated. Tires are in good condition – one is new.

The frame is as solid as a rock – no rust.
The body doesn’t look great, but really doesn’t need much work. All windows raise and lower as they should. It has most of the original seats – missing three. I installed original Carpenter bus overhead shelves – which I don’t think you will find anywhere.

I really like this bus, but I don’t drive it anymore and that is what it needs. It’s time for someone else to enjoy it and take it to the next level.

Serious inquiries only please.

$15,000

1941 G506 1 1/2 ton trooper carrier and dump. The truck is in good condition for its age. It’s got a little rust beading up on the bottom of the door. The brakes are sticking because it’s been sitting. It has a good running full pressure 235 Chevrolet motor out of a 1956 pickup. The canvas has a few pin holes but is still in showable condition. It has all new wiring in it and 12 volt conversion. I have photos of the entire process I can provide. It’s not a perfect truck by no means but with a little tinkering it could be parade ready by Veterans Day.

I have too much junk already. What I need is time.

Gotta keep the year/make/model variability small so that I only have a few platforms I need to familiarize myself with and stock parts for.

On the plus side the trailer should be moving to my place in the next couple weeks so depending on how the summer goes I might stop by and pick up my yard ornament this fall.

Great Project Car to save!

Original VA car........clear title.

Was stripped down for parts back when these were worth nothing :(

Has rust seen in photos but is very salvageable!!!!

Way too many projects and have a more complete car coming and need to make room.

What you see in photos is what is for sale.

Have connections to people who have parts to complete this. Happy to pass on.

Email your number and intentions and I will respond quickly.

Do not need help selling!!!

There a price listed on that thing? Don't have FB.
I'd assume it's in WA though?
