Hey that group text helped me from saying "fuck it" one hellish night at work and throwing all my hard work in sobriety away. I seriously love you guys NO HOMO.

Same thing could happen here. Someone doesn’t want to drink anymore and they homo guilt trip him into staying with the group.

I am 100% Irish, I have traditions to carry on. My grandfather would not deal with someone who didn't drink. said he could not trust a man that couldn't relax and talk. I have seen people addicted to fishing, church or racing. it all falls under too much is too much. if your family is suffering its too much.

About a decade ago, I went from "part time problem drinker" to "maybe 6 pack a week guy". I've been legit drunk probably 3 times in the last 10yrs, and every time it involved some of you guys.

Weird thing I've noticed- back when I drank like a fish, I never kept much beer on hand. Wanna have some drank tonight? Head to the beer store. Now that I'm the 2-3 beer guy I keep the shop fridge packed like there's gonna be a blow out party this weekend.

Same. I had a glass of Basil Hayden Ten Year for dessert after a great steak. Not too shabby!

We have left over steak for lunch. Looks like I'll be starting back up with an IPA in about an hour
