As others have said the conquest a guy had one back in high school fairly new car at the time definitely don’t see many around anymore. I’ve never cared for the 3rd gen Camaro I had a fox body until I lost my license the fzr 600 got sold off also.

I’m in the same boat on to many projects I’ve got a couple of sleds listed for sale those can be a hard sell may have to drag them to the swap meet they both run and ride just need to thin the herd .

The house can be a huge time suck and wallet drainer but it’s a necessity. I need to get back to working on my blazer but I’ve had a few house and bike issues come up it’s always something. Today it’s put the heat exchanger back in the furnace and off to work I go .

Do you have any recent CJ8 pics I’d focus on that one also and broom the rest.

Funny, we're thrashing to get the CJ8 ready to go to SEMA, if selected this week. They're coming to look at it and drive it Wednesday.

Literally 18 hour days.

It's almost done. Sitting a little tall right now, so hunting for OEM YJ springs, to add extra leaves to, since it's spring over.

I have all the parts.... spent a little extra on it, doing a TMI Dana 300 case.

A friend is working on the Conquest for me. He thinks I should have something custom/unique/fun to drive, and is 100% on par with the work quality I expect.

Looks like I can't use the Summit log manifold without coming through the carbon fiber hood.
So it's a no-go.

Lots of stuff to yank out of the engine bay, but the engine looks right at home there.

For an old guy you move fast :flipoff2: What about the Holley turbo log, does it set the turbo any lower?

I think I need to just make my own. Not sure about the Holley log. I know reversed truck manifolds work.

Friend's car.

So, going with manual brakes to 6 pot brembos in front and 4 pot rears with an electric e brake - Converting a Mopar based Baer re-master for that. Just ordered the clutch for the TR6060 that fits without cutting the trans tunnel to heck. I am doing all of Boosted Diamonds carbon fiber on it.

Going back and forth on the OEM dash and matching interior, vs a custom one like this:

Obviously, this going to dramatically out preform a stock car. The question is it going to look dramatically look differnt than stock from the out side. If it is, I think that dash would look great inside. If not, I would tend to go with the stock dash. (In keeping with the sleeper look) I know you plan on carbon fiber parts which were not available back than, but I don’t know if that automatically makes it look highly modified.

14.x" in the front, 13" in the rear.
I was going to say if you wanted the best bang for the buck, NASCAR take offs are the way to go. They get timed out long before they get worn out. Brembo and AP Racing are common. The road course and short oval calipers are the cats ass.

But they run a 12.9" rotor.

Couple examples. These are sold in pairs for about half of what a single caliper costs.

This if from just one of the guys I have saved. Rotors, Hats, hubs, you can get it all.

Yeah, I am going with CTSV/Nissan pull offs.
