No effort at all. I used to deal with dumbasses all the time that would jump for the first pretty face with a hard luck story. Of course most of them were 18-20 and away from home for the first time. I get the appeal of this lifestyle, the idea of travelling free, seeing the country, etc. At 49 I semi-joke that once my daughter is raised, I'm going to sell the house and just live out of a camper across the country, picking up and leaving for somewhere else whenever I see fit. I'm sure the idea is better than the reality, but again, I see the appeal.
I'd love to know where this woman is and just park near her for a weekend and see what her life is really like. These Instagram types are all about selling the image...the yoga poses with the sunset in the background, the orgasmic steaming coffee pics with the remains of last night's still smouldering campfire in the background, etc. Instragram is a huge rabbit hole of vanity, self-absorption and sales... "Don't you want it? Don't you want this life?!". The whole live day to day by the seat of your pants mentality is wild to me. Intriguing, but I'm not wired that way. I'm boring, but I'm stable, and I'm far from in a position of ever needing to give out BJ's for Bronco repairs while I'm broken down in a gravel pit.

I'm going to guess its similar to the life of an OTR trucker, just with some different views and instead of stopping at warehouses you are hiking around a national park. The non recreational side of it would get old pretty quick. I did a 9 day camping/wheeling trip, and while it was awesome to be away and out doing what I wanted, coming home was pretty nice and I was about done looking at the inside of my truck while covered in dirt and bug spray.

I really dont know, 2-300. I know my health insurance plan is over $1200. The Bill's just for having our last son were over $75k so I'm ok with it. Basically the best of everything anywhere we go. Medical, dental, vision.

Health insurance is close to $1K per month for my wife, daughter, and me. My daughter and I are on the cheapest plan we can get. Wife is type 1 diabetic, so we pay up for her plan.

Huh, I haven't had health insurance in the past 10+ years, so I truly didn't know. I asked my fiance how much it would be to add me to her .gov policy, she said 40 something a month. Just glad i didn't have to pay the $695 penalty the past year.
Full coverage on my vehicles range from $35-75 per vehicle, depending what I own that month. So $1500 sounded really aggressive.

In a roundabout way yes. More accurately would be the company I work for pays our trust fund right around $8.50/ hour I work. The trust fund then uses to purchase my health insurance which I get a statement for. The $8.50 comes out of my "total package" and I get to choose which plan I want for my family
