They had these at Boot Barn today, you should go get one…….
Bill isn't flat enough :flipoff2:

He senses fear. Have 4 roos currently.
Had 1 try and attack me. I punted his ass hard enough he slammed into the wall of the back of the coop. That learned him. He was a fucking dick head. He got butchered.
no fear. I usually pet him or pick him up. he's been bitchy lately since I have two hens being broody. he got booted hard for the attack.

Teddy (walk softly carry a big stick)

Kitty, so when you serve it to your guests you can tell them that you had kitty for dinner.

Picking them up, holding them and walking around, or just holding them down until they chill out works well.

Chasing, kicking, etc won't make him not attack. He's designed to fight to the death to protect the flock.

The roosters we raised up with much interaction to be the most friendly. Always wanting to be close by, tidbit and bring you stuff, sitting on your shoe or lap.

You've clearly never met my wife yet.....

We went and looked at our ghetto flock today. Next weekend we are getting 4 hens and 2 roosters from friends of our who are moving. My wife is naming all of them. Then she is also getting 3 more silkie chickens from some other crazy chicken lady next sun.

I'm currently on my way to go buy more shit for the coop that's still not done yet
Curious to see the battles that ensue in your coop when you integrate the 4 hens and 2 roosters with those other 3 hens.
Pecking order is a real thing.........

Yea I don't see this lasting long if you live in a community or have never had chickens before.
Shit you might as well have bought a peacock if you wanted something annoying and don't plan on producing.
You better show that fucker right now who is alpha and I mean you and everyone in the family. Or plan to have some kicking matches real soon.

We live out in the sticks. Neighbors next to us have chickens.

We're getting 7 hens and 2 roosters, they're all from the same flock

I ended up with 10/15 roosters vs hens from the newest group of Chickens we got last summer... 8 roosters went in the freezer, donated 5 to a local group that was making jarred soup for elders. 3 still in there.

Have two running around still, but one of them is mean as hell. I don't turn my back to him. He's been punted a coupled times now.
