Most domestic sniper shots are within 200 yards, the one I know was deployed on a call a few weeks ago and chose to use his pistol due to the environment of the situation.. He's a competitive champion and could easily put rounds in the OB, but most overowatch guys are on a .308 and within 200 yds,...if line of sight allows it.

It's why pistols are the better tool for assassination. Guess thats something holleywood does good, makes it seem like the rifle and distance is the way to go

Really? 150m and the shooter couldn't hit a big orange target? I'm a low level competitive shooter and can hit a 2" plate at that distance with an AR, smaller with a bolt gun. This smells of false flag.

The roof where the person lay was less than 150 meters (164 yards) from where Trump was speaking, a distance from which a decent marksman could reasonably hit a human-sized target. For reference, 150 meters is the distance at which U.S. Army recruits must hit a scaled human-sized silhouette to qualify with the M-16 rifle.

Everyones pappy used to shoot moving deer with open sights at 200yds with old lever actions. Have you ever even shot a rifle? Couldnt even follow up with center mass shots? Remember JFK? Take your usual ignorance elsewhere.

150m seems wholly inadequate. My nephew worked for SS under Trump, but as an analyst, so I doubt he knows what the protocol is.

Yeah, really.

Bolt gun would be easier, and you've probably not just climbed up a building to shoot a mobile target that you've got to find and isn't on a marked course with a no shit time limit.

The clock hurts. But it won't kill you.

I'm also not "aiming for the head" in that spot either.

Maybe, countless stories of combat guys getting a round inside their helmet with no damage other than a haircut, but it's not like DJT is Kenisha head bobbing, so even if it is 400 yards and his head is 8 inches across, that's a 2 MOA shot, so with a 1 MOA rifle he could hold center/center and still be in the OB no problem. False flag.

I don't think you're aware of what any large number of current competitive shooters are capable of under a 90 or 120 second clock.

I shot a match today in 105* heat, and I'm old and fat, and stil got my hits out to 1080. Modern ballistics , machining, and especially optics make this possible. Shit, even two of my AR's can get first round hits on a torso target at 1k, 400 on a 8" target is no problem...and again, I'm a mid-pack shooter, the guys that are good are really good.

False flag, or whacko. If deep state sponsored it's false flag with intentional misses, or if it's a whacko then he's just a shitty shooter or with shitty gear.
