It's a baby step in the right direction, but the charges here are a joke. You're never going to get people to flip on those higher up the chain by threatening them with a class 6 felony. Serve a few months of probation to complete your "sentence" and even a semi-decent attorney will get it reduced to a misdemeanor.

Rethinking this. This is a step in the wrong direction. It's sending a message to all mules and would-be mules that they can plead guilty, get a 6 month paid (by the corrupt) vacation in a (presumably) minimum security "prison", with the charges reduced to a misdemeanor afterwards. Depending on how much they're getting paid to break the law, it could be extremely worthwhile to certain low-class, low-income people.
Exactly. The above punishment is only "if you get caught" and now that, thanks to the 2000 Mules video, they know they can be tracked by cell phones, they'll either use burners or just leave their cells at home when they go drop off ballots.
You would think, but we all know that isn't what's going to happen. A slap on the wrist for being an accomplice to the destruction of the United States, with the alternative being "commit suicide in my jail cell while the security cameras are mysteriously turned off". Hard decision for them, eh?
