Didn't some of the Raptors come with blowers? One of those making blower noises would be a cool daily. I've been trying to get my wife to let me sell the JKUR and get her a Raptor but she isn't hearing it....... Yet.
 
Dillon has pushed the car aside as he's busy with other stuff. Totally fine by me, I told him I wasn't in a rush at all.
I think the leftover work he/we can knock out quickly so I may even take a weekend out and go help him before taking it back up for the winter.

I horse traded some work/parts for a nice sheet of AR500 so the new skid plate will be fancier/stronger.

On the way up from Florida the buggy will have to do another pit stop but I'll talk about it when it happens. I believe it'll be worth the wait.

4x4 SCSB twin turbo coyote F150 are widely called “Mexican GTR”! lol they are probably dollar for dollar the best and fastest dig setup!

Super happy to see this. I’ve been trying to get my weight in check after I quit smoking and get back to where I can really enjoy my physical outdoor activities at the higher altitude without dying! lol

There is a purple one running around up here now that makes 1700hp to the wheels and has been cleaning up at the street races. The local street racers are NOT impressed... :lmao:
 
That truck was in a recent awd race video cletus did. If it didn't win, it was damn close, crazy impressive.

I'm trying to shit talk my father in law into one. :laughing:

Twin turbo 1000wHP with the factory 10spd seems to be easy to achieve and pretty
Reliable for factory parts. Tons of videos on what kits and parts to use. You can build a truck with YouTube and a credit card.
 
If I'd get into a Mexican GTR, I'd keep it a lot more mild. I have very little envy for a drag setup, but a sleeper is always cool.

There is a local-ish dealer that is offering 700hp whipple F150s with a warranty. I don't want a loan, but it was tempting.

800hp 10spd truck would be an absolute blast to rip around town!!
 
Hotrod trucks are gay as fuck..............even if it is fast in a straight line. Though you may be able to do track days for free, by keeping the grass mowed on the outside of all the turns.:flipoff2:

Awd, you could do rally cross :flipoff2:

Really though, a quick pickup like the F150 with the rear dropped 2" to sit level would be a fun dd while also still being useful

Useful as what? A truck set up for hotrod duty would suck for truck duty. The only thing the bed ends up being good for is to hold the ballast you need to keep back there so you have some traction.

My view is jaded because I think they're stupid, so I'll never have anything good to say about them. But I also think only being able to fast in a straight line is stupid too.

I didn't say it had to run a 10sec 1/4" just a leveled truck with 700hp sounds fun :flipoff2:
