I actually liked Freibergers video. I think he does fairly well on camera and knows a good deal about cars. I think the thing that appeals to me and this is especially true of the old roadkill videos, was when they are in some random place with an issue and how they go about solving the problem. Its not the contrived reality TV drama crap and forced timelines, its more of a genuine "how do we get home" kinda thing we all can relate too. Some of it is good tech, and some is just comical like duct taping a flashlight to the hood to have headlights. A lot of times I'm stuck at home or work and it can be fun to go on an adventure for a half hour or so.
I actually dig some of the Cleetus videos where they go to different racetracks and have to drive between tracks. Having to change between the different track and street setups as well as deal with the issues on the street and the overcome issues at the track is fun to watch. I don't really care about the rest of the drama.
