What's new

Freiburgers you tube channel

I casually watch VGG for some background noise and my wife laughs her butt off at some of his BS jargon. So maybe thats why he has so many subscribers, some entertainment for the non auto people too.

I like Dave's channel, have a hard time finishing a Fred video, cant watch Finnegan at all. Actually end up watch 4wd 24/7 a bunch over the last few years. Jessys Patrol build was cool and they actually use them. Even if its "overlanding" and over dramatized for views its fairly entertaining.

guess i will check out Frieberger. I actually liked Roadkill Garage, you can tell he and Dulcich are actually buds and like hanging out wrenching.

I love Freiburger. This guy is a legend.

Dave and Fred I like a lot as people. I think I'd really enjoy hanging out with them in real life. I was gutted when they cancelled Dirt Every Day.

Finnegan and Derek I just can't stand watching. Just like Cleetus and crew... The professional "content makers" that don't show any wrenching anymore and just focus on the "crazy shit" and have their team prep and drop the cars off at the right location for them to fuck around with just bore me to death.

I also miss Engine Masters, Brule and Dulcich.

always enjoyed the shit out of roadkill. enough to sign up for it and pay. then they moved it over to disco and there is less content all around. fewer new episodes of rk, roadkill garage, hotrod garage, etc. makes me think they're slowly killing them off. I think thats why DF is putting more into making his own content. which I will watch. I like his videos, he seems pretty smart about old cars and has a love for them that shows through the camera. the latest road trip in the ford wagon was an enjoyable hour of tv. saw some sites, saw and old car get back on the road and learned a few things. good stuff.

we watch vgg, started a few years back when his channel was considerably smaller. I'm happy for him and his family, they've all put in the work and should enjoy the ride. the struggle getting some of that junk home is gold. the dickhead camper truck guy should watch a few episodes, maybe he'd learn something.

its odd I like chappell on vgg and df channels, cant really get into his channel. I did subscribe and hit the like button on videos when they come out. hopefully it helps even if I dont stick around to the end. i'm sure hes a good guy and I hope he does well on his own.

(plus disco has killed off all the drag racing content. maybe it was played out, i was still looking forward to new shows)

I really miss engine masters. But it always kinda annoyed me that those guys world view is/was limited to carb'd domestic V8s that had been hopped up to various extents.

I think the show would have been enriched a lot by replacing dulcich with a host who was very well versed in 80s and onward stock stuff and basic performance mods. I think Tony Angelo or a litany of the younger youtubers could have been a good choice.

Maybe a new version with Nads and Amir from Super Street Garage?

I like Dave’s stuff, he is my favorite and seems to be many other guys from how much he gets around.
He and I talked about this the other day when he was in town. His goal on any shoot he’s invited to his to just keep his head down and his hands busy. Work and don’t get involved in anything else.

I like the shows that actually show wrenching. cleetus was one of my favourites before he got the freedom factory and blew up, i have no interest in his airplanes or giveaway videos so i dont even click on them, now if he had a channel just dedicated to what zach and ty do i would watch all of it.

Dr tuneemall’s channel with james is my new favourite, good racing and enough fab to keep me interested

I absolutely cannot stand the squirrel character on Cleetus. Otherwise it is OK. Squirrel annoys me enough that I will shut a video off.

Really? Cleat and squirrel have put out some of the most entertaining content of cleet's career this summer.

They do still show a lot of wrenching but it's definitely been cut back.

I don't care about the flying either, but the mini jet boat stuff is crazy to watch.

Jackstand is the one I can't stand. If he's good at anything at all they definitely don't show it.

This catch phrase is exceedingly annoying.

Cleet and Squirrel are unwatchable.

Getting tired of the swb truck content. “we spent $100k to have this built.”

The new race car is interesting but videos move so slow. 30min to tack a primary tube?

Yes James sucks. Tye and the wrench are the best parts of that channel.

Funny enough the Squirrel part didn't even start on the Cleetus side and started on the Fasterprom side before he left that group. It goes back to when Jeremy bought an S10 off him..

I think Jackstand does all the buying. He also seems to know how to drive a drag car well from what I have seen on other channels.

This. Dude can flat out drive a drag car.

Cleet and squirrel is a schtick. Pretty dumb, but excited to see the new Camaro with 5000 HP.

I quit watching DirtLifestyle for a while after he said "Don't waste your time with junkyard axles, just pony up $25K for new."
Blocked his videos years ago. Hadn't seen anything of his until he showed up with Dave in the OnX challenge a while back. He's not gotten any better.

Which one was he in? I don’t recall. I can’t remember if Dave has only done one. I don’t know the guy we’re talking about.

Freiburger is a great content creator and probably has enough ideas left in the tank to be entertaining, hopefully he actually does something instead of bragging about what cars he has. Sell 2 and get 4 done....

I'm 99% convinced that the powers at be bought MT to dismantle the ICE community from the inside out and pave the way for electric...

Suby has it covered with the name and photo. He "built" a Lexus Letters-Numbers full size SUV and Dave was co-driver.

The cleetus bit is tolerable, although way past played out at this point. Squirrel is just annoying as fuck. Jackstand doesn't bother me. I'll watch their videos occasionally, but unsubbed a few years ago when all the bits just got too old for me. I do like VGG and his bit though and watch every one of his videos. Maybe one day I'll get tired of his bit too.

OK, I remember when they built the orange land cruiser. I only watched Dave’s episodes. Makes sense why I don’t know who he is.

American dream… hard working plumber guy gets spot on bleepin keep them tries on his own and makes a good go of it. I think he may run out of (offroad) content with the new big shop unless he ups budget or pivots to adding homesteading.

it would be cool as shit if he'd follow through and finish something. Every time he gets close it seems like he picks up 2 more beaters to build. It's kinda played out for me.

I've never even heard of most of those.

Low Buck Garage is good.
Backyard Alaskan
Cold War Motors
Elderly Iron
Watch Wes Work
Farm Craft

Few more I can't remember.

Anyone remember the OG... David's Farm?

I kinda feel like he was shooting himself in the foot with that one. I watch to see someone build something, if you just gonna be a checkbook wheeler then why would I watch? Also felt the same after watching one of his fordyce videos where on the last winch hill his fj80 made a funny noise so he pretty much just gave up and winched. I also got tired of every trail video being "we have to rush through this trail because we only have half a day to do it". You'd think if your job was filiming wheeling you'd be a little better at planning for some time on the trail. Hell, I do that and it ain't my job.
