Freiburgers you tube channel

I watched him on YouTube the other day talking about all his project cars. I've always been in love with his F-bomb Camaro and have followed it from the very beginning when he started doing the buildup in Hot Rod Magazine. :smokin:

I listened to it while doing other shit last night. He speeds through most of them. It's really like 10 cars with 25 "this is a daily and I'm not gonna touch it" and "this build is a perfect example of what I was going for and I'm not gonna touch it" sprinkled in.

I picked up a print subscription of Motortrend a few years ago for like $5, to have some bathroom reading material. The writers were a bunch of Millennial fops, who would write about such motortrends as overlanding, where they'd drive a Range Rover up to Big Bear and put up a tent over night, then drive it down a dirt road and be surprised when they got a flat on their 21" tire, and a bigger surprise when they found out it had only some fix-a-flat and a compressor vs. a spare tire. Laughable.

Motortrend is dead to me except for the Worlds Greatest Drag Race.

No, Frieburger is the one who does stuff. Finnegan is the one who opens boxes and pays people to do stuff to cars. Sometimes he TIGs or bolts things together.

Not MT related, but the cleetus and jh diesel combo has been absolutely killing it lately. Jh and his cohort did a rip on cleet/squirrel the other day that was fucking hilarious.

I think Finn figured out he likes his family. I never hear David talk about anyone besides his wife.

Heaven forbid Finn pays someone to help him so he can enjoy his kids rather than wrench 80 hours a week for content.:laughing:
 
Thoughts on Vice Grip garage? I watch it here and there but don't understand how it's so big. Every episode is "I bought a dirty pile full of rat shit: let's see if I can get it running and drive somewhere" while spitting out witty(?) stuff like "Just gotta spray this zippity zapper into the carbooberator and give it the old hoo haaa"

On the contrary, I believe he figured out he just can't do most of this stuff (and get good results). His helper sucks now too.

I tried, but after a few episodes it got repetitive and dumb for me...
Finnegan is losing me...hour worth of show for 10 minutes of content...
 
Half of the " project cars are at least drivers, such as the crusher Camaro....
