Next up is ordering drive shaft, splicing wires and airlines. I got the old battery box mounted up for right now. Im going to run that until next year, after i have gathered the supplies for mounting the new fuel tanks and battery box steps.

Are you doing a full cut in the backwall for a sleeper?

Looks good

Thanks! Thats what I'm hoping to do. It depends on what sleeper i end up with. Id love to get a peterbilt unibilt sleeper with the big opening so i can lean the chair back into the opening, for a little more leg room. That being said the back of the cab isnt exactly square either. Im going to wait on the sleeper until after i get the fuel tanks and steps switched out next year.

We did this with a 359 and a starcraft fiberglass sleeper on the Repete. Get all the brackets, standoffs, seals and rings. If u measure real carefully it will go together nicely. I used a subframe to carry the weight so the cab would not break. Im 6'-4" and sit back into the opening real comfy.

If the back of the ford us not square, fab it out so its flat.
