Happy mother fuckin Friday!!!!!

Had mon/tues off to get some shit done around the house, cleaning the garage and found the water heater leaking..so Monday afternoon turned into "find a heater to install now"...:mad3:...ended up going thru a local plumbing supply place because big box stores are worthless...had it installed Tues afternoon :smokin:
THEN...Tues nite daughter calls and says she ran into her garage door at her place...so, ran south to see how bad...hour and a half later, find she taco'd three outta the 4 oanels...:homer:...not as bad as I thought it would be, $1300 to replace...but after $1900 on a water heater, this week is expensive! :eek:

Also, since it's Friday and dont have shit to do.

Since PT was today, and worked from home.. shopped for dinner, bought 2 nice ribeyes, mini potatos, and asperges. Got home started prepping, and put the taters on the bbq because they take longest... wait, wait, call wife, and tell her dinner is almost ready.

Stupid me.... she is out with a friend tonight. She told me a few days ago. Another.. I'm so stupid..

Put asparagus and steaks away and ate potatoes for dinner.

BTW, very nice dinners and a small amount of groceries for a weekend under my management= $250. I should be allowed to shop

Innnn.

Usual Friday stuck at the apartment. Wife is working a triple shift, so boys and are stuck here until tomorrow.

Monthly internet allotment got wiped out in the first week, so having to search everything from my phone. Lame. Had to turn on the wifi for a bit to submit some files to Send Cut Send. Got those on order. Turned wifi off and took a nap. Came back out and saw the wifi back on. Betting the boys turned it back on to watch more Mineceaft crap on youtube :shaking:.

Tonight its a gourmet dinner of frozen pizza.

It was a long, hot week and I'm wiped out but got a lot of work done. My apprentice should be back this weekend from his 2 month jaunt to Hawaii - we'll see if he shows up for work next week. :laughing:

Got a little bit of yard work and some laundry to do this weekend but that's about it.
 
In. Long fugging week in corporate trucking.

Side biz of hustling pallets is picking up. Have a delivery for tomorrow. Think I need to snag some cheap camper trailer chassis to use as drop trailers. Figure its my cheapest way to cover multiple locations.

I got a bunch of projects like most here. My son in law doesn't want his 74' F250 project. So I bought it. :laughing::homer:

Always wanted a street truck. Wanted to build one years ago when I had a F100, but I never did it.

Spending the evening reading shit I read ten years ago try to remember best way to get some drop on the suspension. And I'm drinking.....:beer:

Crank bolt is only as tight as I could get it with a 1/2" ratchet under the truck in 4hi/5th gear with ebrake on.

Sounds like how I did mine. So far, 10k or so miles and no issues with it. Granted, I was doing 'power lifting' while pulling it.

I was hoping to fire up my S10 today. But I found my volt meter MIA... battery was dead so I threw it on the charger but it doesn't look like it is doing worth a shift:shaking: This will probably be the last Excide battery I'll buy. Not happy with the quality or lack there of.

I'm starting my bench building for Christmas computer for me(mid level gaming) I'm currently locked in on AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D. I'm trying to figure out the 'best' place to buy it(ie cheapest) Amazon and Newegg are basically the same. I don't have a Microcenter even remotely close so that is out.

Went with a group that’s been here 20 years in a row. Seats were amazing.

In. Got off work early so went to get my Allis Chalmers B from my stepdads. He had been working on it. It has a new bottom end but still has low oil pressure. I think it needs a new oil pump. Need to split the little bastard to do that though. He says it has enough to last me as long as I will ever run it. On the drive home it started blowing coolant steam out of the cap and overflow tube. I made it home though. I think the waterpump is bad. It never ran hot before though. He never took the waterpump off so I dont know what its problem is. Maybe it has an air pocket. I am kind of in this thing too deep to just give up on it. If it was a later B or a C or CA I would not care and put a Chevette diesel engine on it, but it is an early B and I kind of want to keep it original.

Tomorrow is the 4H tractor show. It is only about 300 yards from my house so I think I can make it over there with it. My friend has been asking me to bring it and every year I tell him next year. Well not this year.

The tin is just sitting on it. I have never even had the tin on this thing until tonight.
