FFF friday nlc

Going with the GF this weekend to Colorado to move some of her "stuff"... Using a big fucking horse trailer to "get er done" Big problem is; no fucking tie downs. Got one spreader from the Homeless Depot. This is not how you have fun in retirement....
IMHO: I would have gone with an LTL trucking co. :mad3::mad3::mad3::mad3:

You sure that getting a spreader bar is not too much of a trip to the BIG CITY...

I have a couple of my dad's load locks or I did I don't know what kind of shape they are in since they have been sitting outside since 1996.
Haveing fun with the airfryer (Yeah I know it's old hat to those who live on the cutting edge of technology) Anyway did baked potatoes and chuck steaks,only problem is I put the steaks in too early and they came out almost to done!

Tried bacon this morning while not a total disaster I did slap them in the skillet to brown.
Woke up with my right scapula throbbing, 04:00 Tuesday got up took an oxycodiene left over from last year eventully the pain went down took a pill before I went to bed Tuesday night pain wasn't as bad, but in the morning I decided to go to the emergency room in Socorro to get it checked out. Nothing showed up on Xrays so doc decided it must be pleurisy due to an elevated white blood count, since I was already set up with an IV they gave me some superduper antibiotics then sent me home with prescriptions for more antibiotics and steriods. Add 1000 MGs of acetaminphine every 6 hours and pain has just become a minor ache. :laughing:

Wife ordered pizza Hut to pick up on the way home. Gets there and they tell her no order for her. So she calls me, I'm on my way home in the Wrangler. With the top off. She wants me to check my work email for the order confirmation, see what store got it. Mind you, we're in a town of 3k people. The next nearest store is 20 miles away. Then 30. Etc. :laughing:

So I go to the Hut where she's sitting in her car
Dejected. No email came either. Who knows where it went. Guess I'll check my card in the morning. :lmao:

She put out smoked chops this morning, so heating them up with some sweet corn. That'll be better anyhow. :laughing:Happy Saturday fuckers! :lmao:

I convinced the boss that it was time to go home and he started swapping the cars around in his toy box as I walked out to the picture below. The urge to hop in the running R8 was very strong, it was left out in the cold, alone. He gave me a look that said. “You drive it, you’re fired” :lmao:. Picked up dinner and went over to check on the grandparents new house. Grandad stopped by and tried to convince me to buy some of his junk. :laughing:

Deep freeze shit the bed this week, right after i cleaned it out. Thankfully not to much was lost. It was an old coranado.Dont have a ground plug, just a 2 prong. Found a Frigidaire at home depot. Found a few on Craigslist but were coffins but wife wanted upright this time. Frigidaire will be delivered next week and old one hauled off. If anyone wants to grab the old coranado hit me up sooner than later. No idea what parts are good(compresser probably went tits up) or use it as a planter box didnt care. Flagstaff az

In. Getting my ass kicked in a 3 way today.

Well rig hoist lifts hook when it should be releasing it, smacking the brake backing plate releases it. Tore that down, looks like a corrosion and lack of lubricant issue.

Customer brought a 6500w honda generator to us that dies intermittently. I started it it ran for 1 hour and died. Fired right back up ran for 30 seconds and it died. Would not start was checking spark with a home made tester and the engine started and ran for about 30 seconds and then died, but had spark the whole time. Fuel tank is disgusting inside and fuel line was getting plugged up :homer:. It has some broken parts that I'll have to order.

Lastly, owning all Chevrolets as service / shop trucks we missed a smog on one that is due next Wednesday. It was running great, but has had a little hesitation for a while. Well all was going good until it was at the smog check today and started stumbling bad.

1991 c3500 hd 7.4 egr help

I have a 1991 c3500 hd 7.4 4l80 rockwell 12" 4.56 rearend. The pos is due for a smog, it has to run a 2500 ish rpms for the test. It runs well and decently smooth going down the road, but when the truck is warm, in park @2000-3000 rpm (didn't test higher) it starts to stumble when the egr...

Smoke was horrible here last night and this morning. Cleared out a bit now with the winds but according to the radar, really bad smoke due back in at 2am.

My lungs hurt.

Took father to his eye Dr appointment in town yesterday, his diabetic retina edema is improving!!!!!!!!! We are so relieved. Diet control is key and the only thing that got that through his confused head has been shots in his eyeballs. Whatever works.

He has started leaving things in odd places. His disgusting and unclean coffee mug he uses everyday was in the food pantry with the jarred sauces. Today he asked me where his sugar free syrup was. "I haven't been able to find it in a week." It took me a couple of minutes to remember I saw it in his coffee cabinet, he was shocked when he saw it there next to the coffee container he uses twice a day. "If not for you we would never know where anything is around here."

Not sure about dinner yet. They have left over chicken that I made last night, unless Ste brings something home. He's working late so I've not heard yet.

In 2013 something odd happened to the truck and the idle rpms got stuck at 2050. That caused a huge stream of other problems and the truck has been a temperamental nightmare since. This is the second egr to be replaced in that time and I'm pretty sure that everything on the engine is new or rebuilt.
 
Well, like other person, needed to run a brush hog so I bought one that was delivered about 16 days ago. Since to stupid and did not read directions, I tried to pick it up so I could tip it over to install the mower belt. Well... tore my right bicept tendon on my forearm. Had my first day of PT today. Only 3 months till maybe I can run my new brush hog. Fuck me. Turns out the belt gets installed from the top side . Such an idiot..
