Favorite spicy snacks ?

Had to track this jerky down after getting some at a gas station. Good stuff, ate the whole bag this week.

Youd like this then too...
They do a ghost pepper and a chipotle bourbon as well. The chipotle bourbon is my favorite.

I make my own pickled eggs 36 of them at a time. They don’t soak up heat very well but a grilled skinned habanero in there will put some heat in it.

I did some with Tahine, love them. Give it a try next time

These are good as well. 001C-0032-1_e098b247-1b22-4d35-a2d9-6b522c6920a3_1200x.jpg
I came in here to see if anyone had posted these yet.

I finally got some of this last week. I like spicy, and this is definitely the spiciest package ramen I've ever had. I've been addicted to ramen since I lived in Japan 20isn+ years ago. My bald head drips sweat while eating these.

I got my hands on some of the spicy chicken carbonara flavor, and I'm really looking forward to trying it for lunch today.

The Momofuku chili crunch is excellent on regular old plain packaged ramen, not very spicy though, and pretty expensive for what it is.

Come in different pepper flavors too, Latinos put it on fruit a lot. Most grocery store have it now
Probably help if I didn't spell it like a white guy.

We use that stuff on a lot of things, it works well on popcorn and it plays nice with cottage cheese if you like that stuff.

Found these at a Restaurant supply store in Richmond. They are definitely hot, but very flavorful too.
Scorpion Pepper Seasoned Dry Roasted Pistachios

20 oz bag was $16.

This sounds like the kind of snack some of you fawkers would enjoy :flipoff2:

You're not wrong. I grew Carolina reapers for a few years and dried and powdered a number of them. I would take a bag of Nacho Doritos and dump them on a cookie sheet, spray them with cooking oil, lightly dust them with reaper powder, throw them in the oven for a few minutes to re-crisp them, put them BACK in the bag with masking tape and "Carolina Reaper" written in Sharpie. People would still reach in and get a handful, and then throw things at me from across the social event when they realized the heat starts slow and low, builds, and then never stops. :mad3:

Checked my Jalapeño and Problano peppers which Ive been growing since early April. Fucking puppy has stripped and eaten most them. Scraps, evidence found in yard. No tissue or burnt intestinal innards found yet. Little fucker. :cookie: 8 lb Yorkshire Terrier.

Came here to say the Buldak ramen company sells their hot sauces now and they’re amazing but it’s true heat it builds and will sneak up on you !

Is it a real capsaicin heat or a Chinese chemical heat?

Real capsaicin heat for sure it’s the real slow build . My heat tolerance is very high and I was eating it like I would sriracha today and finished eating … then the Carolina reaper style heat built I was sweating from my eye balls if you know that heat you’ll understand !

Eating this was a bad idea. The 2x Buldak is perfect IMO

That looks fun, for a minute!

I gave up on buying the Buldak spicy black package ones. Like I said, I like spice, but after eating a few packages it's just too much for a normal meal. I guess I'm getting old. I have a shelf in my fridge dedicated to the spiciest sauces and I rarely ever go to the hottest any more.

My new go-to has become the Shin Gold. It has some spice, but not overpowering like the Buldak.

On a completely opposite derail, these are fun:

Sour Balls

I bought a bag for a family vacation and had a contest to see who could hold on the longest. SUPER sour. Takes a bit of perseverance to make it to the sweet part. Very entertaining.
