Awesome. Definitely hitting both ends of the spectrum.Working with a can am rental spot in WI near our go to camping area and taking a Maverick max 3 Friday and a defender max Saturday for market research purposes

You get used to it. My defender crew felt like a big bitch when I first got it. Now my crew commander feels small.Well now you fucked up because everything else is going to feel slow as fuck
I probably would have got that same model if they didn't have the wheelbase of a crew cab 1 ton.
X3 is 135" wb, that's 20" longer than most other 4 seats like rzr and talon. You get used to it. My defender crew felt like a big bitch when I first got it. Now my crew commander feels small.
I know it’s long, I’m saying you get used to it. My defender was 115” and the commander is 120”.
It’s a different trail experience here. The private timber trails are all cut to accommodate long machines. There’s usually only a couple times where you have to backup and realign, usually on a switchback before a steep climb. But, I do get what you are saying. They are definitely long.Commander is shorter, no?
Still a ways from 135" My talon was 117" and it still sucked, nothing to get used to when you have to make 10 pt turns and get high centered on the curvature of the earth.
I can't imagine a 4 seat x3 anywhere but dire roads or dunes

Lol yes that was the only way I could set up to try both. Turning radius sucked on it but definitely fun.Well now you fucked up because everything else is going to feel slow as fuck

So the whole fam agrees they like the sport over utility all day. Didn't realize how different they'd be riding back to back. I'll call it a success, now I gotta pick one while it's still a good ideaWell now you fucked up because everything else is going to feel slow as fuck

Yes was a good time and I felt the same about my sami too, our local park shut down to trucks a few years ago so I don't wheel unless it's a planned out deal. That’s long. But I guess that’s what you need to accommodate 4 humans. My sami has 84” WB
Looks like y’all had fun!

Missed the second half, I'll send a pm. Debating these vs rmax right nowI had to back 4 X3's Maxes into the shop last night because we have too much inventory, they're tricky but because the tires are basically at the corners you figure out really quick how to maneuver them without hitting stuff.
OP I don't know where you're located but we've got a handful of X3 Max's we'd sell at invoice. We're in eastern MO about 20 miles south of Hannibal.

Go with the X3 if it's in your budget. The RMax is a nice UTV but with the rear seats being mounted high it doesn't handle nearly as well as the X3 will with 4 people in it.
What's it take to get a 4 seater on 35s? I have some I had on my samurai looking for a home
X3? Bolt them on
If it's a 72", I think the 64's will only clear 33's without modification. KRX takes 35's with no issues, as does the Turbo R and Pro R.X3? Bolt them on
Internet info is all over the place. I initially was really drawn to the Hondas but no rental places have them. Mostly see yamaha and can am for rent and figure they get beat on and must hold up but I don't know. Really like the wheelbase of the Talon (and price)What’s the real opinion on quality and reliability on the can ams? To me, it felt like Polaris is lowest quality (max wrench time), then maybe can am, then the Japanese machines with the highest reliability/least wrench time. I’m partial to the KRX and the looks/reputation of the Rmax, but I’ve never done anything but touch one.
