Dogs of Irate 4x4

Maple, 4 months old, still a toddler. No focus, wants to be in on everything. We had her about a week and a half, she and the cat were "playing", chasing each other. Cat chases her into a room, dog turns around, cat swipes at her and gets her left eye. She has glaucoma, gets eye drops regularly, but will lose the eye within a year.
That’s a bummer. Dogs, unlike humans will go about their life like nothing happened and never once want sympathy.

I dunno about that. We had this aussie/heeler thing that got her head ran over. Lost an eye,and broke a bunch of teeth. That dog lived a long time, but she was a holy bitch after that day:laughing:

Trying to teach Annie the “Chill” command. I think she’s gettin it.

Little black one - long haired Chihuahua/you poodle mix. 11 years old, 7 lbs, always sleeping or barking.

Big tan one - whodunit mutt. DNA test shows pit, chow, and American bulldog. Was found by a guy on another forum, with his sister at around 7 weeks old. They had too many dogs and were on the way out of town 4th of July and were going to drop at a shelter. We took him, wife's friend took the sister. He's 7 now, and the sweetest dumbest dog ever, but he's assertively friendly.

Both in their usual state of either going to sleep, asleep, or just waking up from sleep.

Friday we said goodbye to Reagan (on right). My wife’s first pup, so she’s taking it hard. Pup had hepatitis and liver issues, so we’ve been on borrowed time for 4-5 years. She was the heart of the neighborhood- everyone loved her. Our Mal is doing okay, but showing signs of depression (she’s never liked change.)

Biggest of hugs to her and you.

He’s not spoiled much…

We’re finally into my favorite time of year, mild during the day, and a little chilly over night. When I left for work this morning I put the light blanket over him, he usually shrugs them off. Mrs found him snoring under his woobie when she got up
