What's new

Cool things you don't need, but will probably buy anyway

There's a guy around here who'll haul up to 50k if "doesn't look stupid hanging off the truck" and doesn't have to go down the interstate.
Problem is it's likely too high for a heavy roll back. They can haul about 40k though.

they where running a deal on those couple months back, just the power supply for $2k. i also picked up their 300amp tig. great value. i like it every bit as much as my dynasty

If your going to winch, you'll need to build a nice skid to bolt in to. Most of them aren't really built to be dragged sideways.
yeah flat plate uprights don't like side load

couple 4x6 skis on the flat oughta do it good enough though

I'm glad to hear you say that, I've been checking them out for quite a while, but have yet to hear from anyone not on the YouTube. I'd really love to try one, but I'll likely just order it. I don't think dual voltage on this version is worth the extra chunk, so the 220 only one is what I'm after I think.

how many dollah?

I'm about 7k into a 9.2k hour 773 that really should be dead many times over

Roughly 12.5 with 1180 hours. Equipment is expensive here, I could wash my hands off it if I don't like it. The idea is to have a machine I can put 200hrs a year on for the rest of my life and still be worth 12.5:laughing:

I actually have use of a dump truck and a triple axle trailer that could haul it. Now I just need HF engine hoist to lift it.:grinpimp:

:lmao:

Well this is on its way here. :smokin:

Weirdly I had an intense craving for maple syrup and loin bacon this morning. :flipoff2:
odd, never seen what looks like an underdrive ratio available on the sprockets

worth it for not having to fuck with a rod through the block and a hydraulic pump that's still only held in by one finger tight bolt (really should get after that before it destroys itself)
ETA: oh and every pin having no less than 1/16" of clearance

or get it loaded by the buddy of the guys selling it (riggurz rekwired!!!11) and "figure it out" on the other end

Yeah, I deal with enough junk in my life that I try to buy "nice" equipment so I don't have to fix shit to fix shit to fix shit

Been shopping for the right buggy/rail/baja for a few months now. Need to up my budget a little more before I'm into the ones I want.

Sceep,

Have you looked at Exomotive Exocet chasis? All you need is a cheap Miata for a drivetrain donor and Paco Motorsports lift kit.

There might even be few for sale at present.

Huh, I wonder what changing the drive sprocket would do? Never thought about that b:smokin:

Top is the motor drive sprocket, middle is the sensor.

I dunno, the one on the pedals always seems to be bigger than the ones on the wheel
but we don't really have mountains here and electric bikes weren't a thing when I was a kid

well other than the one we stuck a starter motor onto, it didn't work good because lead batteries are heavy and the solenoid caught fire

Always wanted this exact model. I'll have it this year when I find the right one bundled with tooling and extra chucks.

I have that exact one use it often, great little lathe!
