I guess I should've posted about this in this thread
before I bought it
Been mulling this over for almost 2.5 years
Gamo Swarm Magnum 10X GEN3i in .22
I pretty much "needed" a suppressed, scoped pellet rifle for critter reasons, but it's actually
fun to shoot
Nowhere near silent but quiet enough, way quieter than my Beeman P-1 .177 at ~600 FPS.
I was wary, but the 10 round auto-load feature is a fawkin'
option, hands-down.
Bit of a bitch to break at 41# but it delivers 26.6 foot pounds of energy.
I went with a .22 to stay subsonic but get good energy downrange.
Here's a few different kinds of pellets at ~16 yards:
50-100 more rounds & that fire extinguisher bottle will look like hammered dog shit
EDIT: I was sighting in the scope sitting on a hillside w/ my left elbow on my knee.
Bottom left two groups were my last two while fingerfucking the clicketydials.
I believe this would hold 1" groups at 25 YDS rested. Totally happy with it.
