This is what's currently keeping me up at night:homer:

My 1st 4wheeling experience was in a 79 bronco when I was 6, my uncle climbed a river bank and pulled the front tires off the ground.

Zero rust, some bondo, comes with extra front fenders, factory ac, ran when parked 10 years ago.

Guy wants 4-5k, I'm trying to get it for 2500-3 before it hits Craigslist

Edit, I've owned several broncos, and several dentside trucks with 79 grille, but never a 78-79 bronco. There is a piece of me that is unfulfilled:laughing:

I had a '79 and regret getting rid of it, I still have my tonneau cover for it which I kept because I hope to find another.

Yeah, out of my cherry all original 67 bronco, and my maaco painted cummins highboy with 79 clip, it's the 79 look I miss the most

If it was closer I'd be all over it, just to pull up at my dad's house in it. I can remember sitting on his lap driving his, going out to climb parking lot snow piles.

It's bid up to $20,100 on Bring A Trailer.
I did not check it out other than snapping the pictures. Looked like it had mounts for a camper. No idea if it runs or not. I'm guessing typical ~50 year old truck problems.

If someone wants me to REALLY check it out I can.

Interior looked decent and had all the parts to make it work.

Not sure what this is, it was behind me driving slow as hell. Only reason they passed me is I was turning left. It looked cool but it's a zoomed potato pic.

MClaren. Not sure which one. We have a couple near us I see at the freeway offramp every once in a while.
