We mountain biking at Mammoth Mountain this last week. The park staff was using this thing to haul pipe around the moutnain:
wasn't sure, only saw a someone in it once and didn't have time to ask, but I'm guessing because it's a mountain beater and the resort isn't putting money into it?why only running singles on the rears instead of both duals?
More ground pressure for traction and no DOT to hassle them about weight.why only running singles on the rears instead of both duals?
Thinking about one of those for my son. They aren't stupid money yet for a driver.1960 model-
The neighbor down the road pulled one out from his back 40 it sold pretty quick never stopped to check the price because I probably would have brought it home. Here’s a two old trucks in town at the local shop and old crew cab near lowes.Thinking about one of those for my son. They aren't stupid money yet for a driver.
with how they're staggered on both sides of both axles, I'd bet they found some tires that are too large diameter for the axle spreadwhy only running singles on the rears instead of both duals?
Or so it always has a set of tires not in the ruts.with how they're staggered on both sides of both axles, I'd bet they found some tires that are too large diameter for the axle spread

Damn! I haven't seen a blower like that since my super redneck neighbor moved away and took his el camino with him. This old Nova is sitting in my garage. Transmission needs to be pulled and rebuilt along with some other small repairs.
I think that's the access panel for the bed dump pump. The neighbor down the road pulled one out from his back 40 it sold pretty quick never stopped to check the price because I probably would have brought it home. Here’s a two old trucks in town at the local shop and old crew cab near lowes.
If your talking about the side door on the bed I believe those came on the camper specialsI think that's the access panel for the bed dump pump.
thisTool box dealer add...
And this is the correct answer for the Autocar...maybe? that Harry Johnson postedOr so it always has a set of tires not in the ruts.
All of the dealer adds that I have seen had a flanged box. Cut the hole and pop rivet it in place.this
there was also the super camper special 350 with the wheelbase stretched out and the spare tire lived in that area, but that was a different shaped door/panel dingus and the box obviously had the wheel wells back toward the rear to accomodate the longer WB
This makes sense. No way the dealer was cutting, flanging, and repainting the bed side. All of the dealer adds that I have seen had a flanged box. Cut the hole and pop rivet it in place.
Yes on the camper specials. I’ve only seen two and both were large door hatches.
I have seen a bunch of 76 and older F250’s with that box. It’s not a dealer add on unless Boyd was traveling the states and fabbing them into the bed. Those have a flange integrated into the bedside.
Not a camper special. Original truck too.If your talking about the side door on the bed I believe those came on the camper specials
And offset so they get better traction because the rear drive axle tires aren’t in the Ruts of the front drive ?why only running singles on the rears instead of both duals?
Other than the two seaters , None of the Thunderbirds are expensive .Thinking about one of those for my son. They aren't stupid money yet for a driver.
