Local place had a promo going on so I loaded up.
I’m probably not qualified to review cigars.
But it’s a full-bodied cigar. Starts off light, with a very strong finish. There’s whiskeys out there that would probably go better with it, but it was overall pretty not bad.
I’ll get another one.

i use an older version of this. passed on to me by a friend who upgraded to a larger capacity. Keep the tray with some propylene glycol and it holds at 70% always.

Humidor/Boveda pack question: I've gpt a 10x8x4 humidor that was a Thompson freebie. Got maybe 25 sticks in it. 72% Boveda packs don't last long and the humidity never gats above 65%. Checked levels with different humidistats; they match. WTF?

If you're not in a hurry, watch for Cigar's international to have a sale. Couple years ago I bought a blemished unit for a really good price, just a dent in an outside corner that doesn't affect anything.

Did you season it first? Wood takes a lot of moisture at first to get it to the right spot, think of it like a giant humidity battery that you're trying to recharge. Boveda makes a kit to season humidors or you can do it by wiping it down with water. Plenty of YouTube videos on it.
Just for comparison I have a 69% pouch in my air tight plastic box and have to recharge it once every year or so

Any of you all feel a nictotine buzz from cigars?
Obviously they aren't meant to be inhaled. Curious if enough gets absorbed through the mouth for a perceivable effect or is it strictly about the flavor?. I've never smoked a real cigar, but have dabbled with cigarettes from time to time. That shit is nasty but luckily I'm not hooked. Once every few years I may grab a pack. Don't know why, probably coincides with times I've been stressed.
