We have an above ground pool that came with the house, been filling it for the kids to play in but it's in 100% shade. It's always cold. We have plans for a new pool in the next year so I have no plans to cut trees to unshade this one.
The house is 100% electric and there is only a single 110 outlet near the pump.
I've been looking at the DIY roof top solar pool heaters, the ones where the water trickles down in what is basically a black box.
I was wondering if 200-300' of black hose winding back and fourth would do anything? It's the back side of the house, not seen from the street so I'm not worried about looks.
