Carnage share thread

Nothing like the big boys but this wasn't great. End of trail 39 at windrock. Couldn't bang the clutch fast enough. Winched out the last 160 yards uphill. Chromo d44 couldn't handle the 3.8 power🤦

That’s a head from a 2.8 VM Diesel in a Jeep Liberty, the gear set is from a S135 axle in a F550

A 6.4 piston. The other picture is a 6.0, somebody tried to do head gaskets, he bought everything online and got a counterfeit ARP head stud kit, he went to torque the first stud and it snapped off

Dang i didnt know there were still 6.4’s out there that ran.
It didn't run, it had to be reincarnated, LOL, don't worry it probably blew up by now.

Hard to fully wrap my head around this one. Friends young sons 4 wheel steer buggy at sand hollow. CTM 300M shaft missing a chunk after breaking it.

Our group never really had major carnage other than some axle shafts and a few drive shafts. I did have a dana 300 behind a 231 doubler that blew out a chunk. Had a buddy bring me a spare and swapped it out in the Rausch Creek parking lot.

What's the story behind that for it to be so perfectly straight back?

Judging by the color it's from one of the cinnabons?
Really eh, that didn't just happen over night...

I've seen some roached cylinders in my day as a millwright., never one with the bushing still in place, yet the clevis has been eaten into like that.
