California how bad does it suck ?

Yes, but a large economy doesn't automatically make it some awesome place to be.. 😂
not if you aren't availing yourself of the benefits being that large of an economy offers. I spent 12 years maximizing those benefits and now I don't have to. If you are on the lower tier, it is better to be in a place where you aren't the 5th largest economy.

Nor Cal sucks so bad that dump fee was $10 for load of concrete :flipoff2:

$40 or $50 a ton at North Gateway dump I go in Phoenix
You paid? There is a place out by Prairie City that takes it for free. Think it’s on White Rock

Most places have a "minimum charge" of $10 or so. If thry see you have a small load you get charged that up front so you dont have to stop on the way out.
What I had meant was, people using the regular curbside service are paying higher prices to offset the reduced cost at the dump, and etc.

The trucks and plants don't cost any less to operate because they are on CA

Did you miss the part where I said I lived in CA for the first 32 years of my life? The benefits in no way, shape, or form, outweigh the downfalls.

You want legislation prohibiting a free market? sounds like some commie shit out there in MO

Ahhhh CA transplant. That's why :flipoff2:
Ok so I mis-typed. Illegal is not the right word.. but I do think we needs to abolish the shit tipping expectations we have in the US

I think you missed the part where YOU have to avail yourself of the largesse. You didn't figure out how to plug in to all that cash. Unfortunate, but you have found your spot now, win!

Possible. A number of years back a couple of them roared thru suburbs in the northern San Diego area burning 100's of homes. Entire neighborhoods were burnt to the ground.
A couple years ago, there was a big fire in the Sepulveda Pass. All my relatives from around the state were calling to see if I was OK. I am 7 miles of pure concrete and LAX from that. We cool.
