What's new

CA now requiring masks everywhere

I think he's just following the bad advice of his "health officials". They're using flawed data and think they're acting for the "good of the people". The problem is they're ignoring any data to the contrary, just like lots of people here do. I see zero evidence of Newscum trying to set up a dictatorship in California. I see his actions as basically stupidity for blindly following his "health officials"

ah, so the dictator is simply a puppet to his cabinet?

hitler wasn't the worst person in the NAZI party either, he had some absolutely fucked advisors and the support of the people :flipoff2:

gov newsome is the end all be all authority at the moment. he has bypassed the legislature and his decrees carry the force of law. he is going along with obvious-to-rational-people wrongheaded and single minded experts and causing literal damage and loss of life across the state as a direct effect.

that isn't false. how is it tinfoil?

follow up: What would a dictatorship even look like, if not that? :flipoff2:

If you think that means he's trying to set himself up as a dictator I can't help you as you need some serious professional help for those delusions.

i don't think he is trying to set himself up. He is 4 months in to his word being law and bypassing legislature. do you think there is more that he is going for?

I don't think he will permanently disband the legislature, he just needs these essential powers for....well....a little longer. at least until a vaccine...well, at least until the vaccine is delivered.....maybe just until we get a confirmed vaccination rate of 90%....well, then we need to keep it up in case it mutates :rasta:

Not to take sides in this discussion but I think it's wrong to conclude "bypassing the legislature" has any effect. The legislature will pretty much go along with the Lizard neck slick back hair who would be King. Don't you think ?? I observed about 3/4 of the peoples wearing masks in public stores this AM and around lunch time here in the Capital county. Two people I talked to felt it was stupid but did it to not alarm other people, ie they didn't want to be offensive. FWIW.

I bought some masks in case I'm denied entry while on the clock. Otherwise I'll shop at smaller stores that dgaf.

but I like the feeling of rusty spoons on my salad fingers :flipoff2:

just my opinion, I think adding the legislative approval adds a layer of responsibility and accountability and makes it so one person can’t just make rules arbitrarily. A governor can make an emergency ruling but if it extends beyond a certain period, say a month, then it should require legislative approval. Just my opinion.

Apparently he thought that getting the legislature involved was too much of a problem when he declared a moratorium on the death penalty.

From Wiki
"Capital punishment is a legal penalty in the U.S. state of California. As of March 2019, further executions are halted by an official moratorium ordered by Governor Gavin Newsom.[SUP][1]"[/SUP]

Despite the desires of the voters in this state:

"California rejected two initiatives to repeal the death penalty by popular vote in 2012 and 2016, and it adopted in 2016 another proposal to expedite its appeal process.[SUP][7]"

He may not see himself as a dictator yet,but certainly does feel that his personal desires far outweigh the desires of the voters in this state. [/SUP]

bypassing the legislature is just the most glaring example of how the emergency orders effectively make him a single source power dictator. Of course the rubber stampers in sacramento are generally trash.

Agree with all the comments about my comment. How do I get the Pirate flipoff and my pattened giz-fag emogee thing ? Where are they sourced ? Not this lame shit = 😲 Trampas is killing me 🤣

So you're saying this is bullshit ?

I'm sure the numbers are padded, but I think we've tried the "hide under the bed and piss my pants" long enough.

There is no way to avoid getting infected. The hospitals here aren't busy, time to open back up.

don't forget the last bullet from that section

While outdoors in public spaces when maintaining a physical distance of 6 feet from persons who are not members of the same household or residence is not feasible.

and it also includes anybody at work :rasta:

IF you pay property tax your house is controlled by a government entity.

LOL

for as independent as you are, i'm impressed you are posting any sort of support for the mask orders

Thats was my thought as well.

He posted some :rainbow: saying in his meme/video thread and seems to be for the mask deal. I thought for sure he would be an "If your at risk, wear a fawkin mask" guy, but was wrong.....

I am at risk so yes I wear a N95 almost everywhere go.

Life isnt perfec now with the fire still on my mind every time I go to town and other factors but there are many health concerns, diabetic, HBP, Weight... have and life as it is here and now is better than having my lungs shredded by a ventilator in a ICU somewhere.

and that's all well and good, i hope you are also wearing sun glasses at least, so i guess as long as you support it only from a personal choice stance and not a government mandate stance, it still fits.

edit: just seems odd that some of the propaganda you're sharing is wildly overblown :flipoff2:

As I said in another thread I only wear one to keep a business from getting closed down. I won't jeopardize a businesses livelihood. Other than that, no, I don't wear one.

I wear one around people, which I try to keep at a minimum. Dunno why people make it such a big deal. Like helmets in the '70s. If you were against a "law" you were automatically a moron who thought everybody should wear a helmet.

Got my hair styled today by a very sweet lady at Master Hair & Nail. I got the "Walter White!" :grinpimp:

So because of your unhealthy life choices which put you at risk, you want everyone else to wear a mask so you don't get sick? Got it.....

thanks for eating butter as a kid

Wrong again. I've not said that the .gov should decide what's best, that's just your delusional reading of my posts. All I've said is I don't believe there's some huge and nefarious conspiracy to deprive us of our rights and set up a virtual dictatorship. I'm not a certifiably paranoid person like you.

Semantics you tool, semantics...i simply believe they are lying to us about all this to keep control of the power, but hey, try to twist it into my delusional conspiracy.
So from what I've posted, you say I'm delusional and paranoid? From you posted, i can read that you are in fact a lemming who will follow the whole group straight off a cliff... even if you think differently about yourself, you surely are a follower... my posts about you were not wrong in the slightest. :flipoff2:

You are simply a bitch who cannot figure out what it is he believes in. You are blindly following the .gov which you put down constantly when things are "good", but follow along helplessly when they tell you to. Dumb fuck, figure out what it is you stand for and stop back peddling like a child :usa:

then what do you call the 4 month long emergency power that has created a literal dictator out of newsome?

I call it you being an egotistical fuckstick that cannot deal with anything but a perfect life for you.

4 months? You couldn't take it anymore at week 2. Fucking loser.

People that lose control over their life act like you. Seeing conspiracy shit when there is zero fucking conspiracy going on.

It's pretty sad really.
