Best place to cross the rocky mountains

Kid at the counter had no idea what a vacuum gauge was :laughing: they ended up having 1 behind the counter with the OBD2 connectors. All the ones he could order in were all about the same $30. Added a tube of grease for all the electronics to help keep moisture out :rasta:

14" was the most I could get out of it, running 700-750 rpm idle instead of 600, just to help it out a touch

When I first saw this thread start I was going to make a smartass comment like "30,000 feet on the way to Vegas for hookers and blow". Now that I see all you went through I have the same answer but seriously and not being a smart ass. :flipoff2:
 
None at the truck stop, carquest gets a look and then I'll just eyeball it in. Vacuum is just easier :rasta:
Thats why I bought 2 more at a second hand store last week. Thinking of hanging one permanently on the dash. I had an 84 Impala with an OEM indash vacuum guage that read "Fuel Economy". :laughing: I have at least 6 or 7 now. Living at High altitude I like using them to help set timing on my old stuff too.
