how stupid are you talking.....

I’ve never wanted a car in my life with one exception. When I graduated high school Legit 7.0L Shelby Cobras were selling for about 1/4 mil. Obviously that’s flawless real cars. I gave up the dream because I thought $250,000 dollars was absurd. Now the sell at Barrett Hackson auctions for 2 million. I’d give you everything I could scrounge up for a real one, you got one of those in the pile? 66/67 427 5 speed?

my dad has one that was damaged when his garage caught fire, damned neighbor kids and fire. I was able to push it out of the fire but the ambient heat damaged it quite a bit.

Now you've done it. First IBB Auction?

I vaguely remember you posting that before. Maybe on CO4x4.org?

One of the best sounding exhaust noises I ever heard was from one of those driving by. I heard it from a couple blocks away and when it went by with it's sidepipes I just said damn that sounds good.

We’re keeping that beast! It was so quick, dyno’d at just over 650. Won’t need too much to put it back together.

last time I was at Shelby in Vegas, they had an aluminum body 427 car that Shelby had built for his electrician, only 400 miles, $170k.

Dude :smokin: who are you? Where does he get such wonderful toys? No wonder you don’t care one way or another on the COE, you’ve got way better stuff languishing in the yard

I love all the jack asses that have to denigrate something.

Did mama not love you enough? Daddy love you too much?

I just bought a 57 Chevy 6000 series COE on a 2004 C4500 chasis. No engine or trans. 7K. We will build it nicely

All the hot rod guys want the weird old stuff to haul their Cobras, Vickies or what have you. Modern drive train and amenities, old school looks.

When done, something over 70K is not unheard of.

So, yeah, I'd start at 7K and let him take you down to 6K.

Was his name Grendel?

And wtf?
