Not sure where you're coming from with this instance that everyone just lost all their money.

My bet is they all get some trinket worth about 30 cents. The seller will have delivery confirmation and close up shop once they start showing up. His cousin Sum Ting Wong will reopen the shop as a different seller the following day.

FWIW- I bought two. By the time I changed my mind 1.5hrs later, it said "in process of shipping, we'll try to cancel".
