Alone

Pm details, and I'm on it.

… that’s why I love this place

FWIW;
many of the more corporate hospitals have some pretty draconian rules about how a patient arrives, signs in and departs these kinds of appointments

The prep sucks( for real, ) but even though you can drive yourself up, ( at my hospital ) someone has to come in and sign the intake form

… no signature … no procedure ….

This is a beautiful idea. You and Nate could bring a lot of enrichment to each others lives.

Send me a RT plane ticket. I'll come shit in your sunro.... errr, pick you up and take you back to your shack. :flipoff2:
The cables in my sunroof broke back in 2010 so it's permanently closed.

It's a crack shed, not shack. 😁
Or need some PTO that you can gift some of your hours to them?
I work alone... in a 10,000 sq ft warehouse.

Your friends suck.

After my rear end camera inspection they insisted I was driven home, and the nurse literally was forced to hold my arm to walk me to my wife’s car and help me get in after conscious sedation.

We drove to get food 200 yards up the street and came back and I drove home to spend the afternoon drinking beer and doing chores. I was sober as hell.

Everybody is different. Knocking me out lasts only as long as they need. My wife can’t function for at least 2 days.

Did I mention your friends suck?

I'd have to have some for them to suck

Nate, did you ask the hospital this question?
Pretty sure that you are not the first person in this situation

I have had family sign for me out of surgery and they were as worthless as being there alone
Including getting mad at me for not remembering what the Doctor said directly after the Operation

and like I have said in the past, get a girlfriend:grinpimp:

I hope you get it figured out.

They asked me my wife’s phone number, make, model, and color of car she was picking me up in.

You seriously don’t know a single person to help you out for an hour?

Maybe don’t say you have something for your friends to suck on?

Unimog dude owes you a favor…

This thread is gaining traction.

I saw the Thread title and knew immediately who posted it

But did they actually check?
When Grandpa was in the hospital, even with all of his heart wires connected to the front desk on the 5th floor , Grandma busted him out the parking lot doors smoking a cigarette. No one even had a clue he was gone
They have the be the same type of people working up there at the front desk

I'm throw my hat in the ring too. Plane tickets and I'll be there.

I doubt there's any paperwork to sign. I've never had to sign anything picking up any friends or family.
There is. If you take someone for a colonoscopy you have to sign a paper.
And they won't start without someone there so no point in saying walk out after.
The hospital is not the cops, they don't care and don't check or pursue anything, they are just doing what they need to do to stay out of court.

I've never had anyone with me when I've got a colonoscopy. When I wake up and they've asked about someone picking me up, I say I'm driving myself home. They always just say to hang out for a while. Which I do, then away I go.

If I remember correctly, they did have me sign some paper saying I was driving myself home.
