What's new

.17 hmr, to ar or bolt action?

So just for shits n giggles i poked the internet and found a article on pewpew tactical says garrow had a mfg and finacial issue and was fully defunct. :(

But in that artical it mentions another company, inland manufacturing posted a new upper with the same gas opperated system in '22. Looking at their site it doesnt seem to have come to fruition. :( :(
That's what happened, from my research. I followed his production from when the first prototype was released and ordered mine about a year after they went for sale. Shortly after shit started going down hill for him. Inland picked up the patent I guess, but no sign from them if they are actually going to produce anything.

If I were going to buy a 17HMR upper today I'd go with the bca and will eventually get their 22wmr upper.

Don't get a 410 AR. I had one, it was fun when it worked, but that wasn't very often. They are a gimmick. A 410 pump or lever is a good gun to have.

Buddy has a Saiga .410 for squirrel warfare:laughing: He has been pleased with it

Have some fucking class:flipoff2:

Im not skooled in commie yet so idk how much is ak/siaga and how much is non standard structure.
486 knows. I'm pretty sure that the .410 has a standard fcg, but the receiver needs to be slightly modified to accept ak furniture.
I have the 308 version and it's a proprietary design as well as the 12ga.

Am I missing something? Have .410 cartridges become available and/or remotely affordable?
That "ultra rare" LC Smith Field costs $38K only because it comes with a 25 rnd box of ammo...

I reload 410. It is fun to shoot that way. LOL

That makes it more like a toy although I would like to shoot trap with a 410.

My son has a judge 410/45 pistol.

I have a few 410s including a marling 9410 and also have a 410 upper that I have not built yet.

It is just a fun round.

But reloading is the only way it is fun.

A Marling 9410?
Marlin, Geez,

yes lever action 410.

It is fun, but I wish it had a longer barrel. When I had recreational property it was perfect for leaving in the truck. Shooting rodents and snakes.

got a couple pheasants and even a couple ducks

bunny rabbit and squirrels.

Great gun. Totally neglected. LOL

Showed up yesterday.

Definantly different but went on with no issues at all. Ive been trying to grab some ammo localy but not having much luck, sold out most everywhere.

Let me explain to you like youre not from commifornia.

In ca you have to do a full on bg check to buy ammo, its quick and was not an issue the last time i did it. However, if you want to order ammo there is a whole seperate bs you have to go through.

Ive got a bucket coming from a friend and i will be passing a known supply shortly aswell.

Its all good. Now that i have the rifle ill get the ammo asap.

That's dumb. I would be having it sent to somebody on the other side of the border. Kinda like how everybody around medford drives south on a liquor run:laughing:
