Came across these take out engines with transmissions and wiring harnesses for under $10k with a 6r140 and only delivery miles on the engine.

Seems like a good deal for an engine swap into a ford. Blown 6.0, 6.4, 6.7 trucks are getting very cheap, while the price of a Cummins keeps going up.

Unbolt the yoke and that mount, attach transfer case.

5R110 is the same way. At least those with a dl parking brake are.

2wd 5R110 is as simple as unbolting the tailhousing + output shaft assembly and putting a 4wd one on. One with the driveline parking brake would be a 4wd transmission already, just drop the brake and put the case on.

Is the driveline parking brake the same one they've been using since the F-superduty era?

I bet it's the same ZF part if it bolts on a t-case flange.

6R140 output shaft differences

I am still in the process of converting my van to 4X4 (I know, still). It has the looks, but I am trying to get the actual t-case installed. I just learned yesterday that there are more than one output shafțs on the transmission? It is a 2019 E350 with a V 10 and a 6R140 transmission. From my...

This guy claims there are 2 output shaft lengths. Long one being one of 2 lengths available on 2x4 applications. When I got a new pan for the 6r140 there was a note about bolted on yoke or not (guessing slip).

theft recovery or damaged in transit? Anyway to find out what they were installed in?

Iirc they were coming outta vans that were getting swapped over to electric.
