It's a 2.5" inlet/outlet, 14" long and 4" around.
It does almost nothing.
I already have a certain amount of hearing damage and would like to minimize adding to it.
Is there any small stainless mufflers that actually do something? Is there any that are round/straight through sized, but actually are baffled/chambered? It can be fairly restrictive and it won't matter. Getting it to fit is the main issue.

Welded this all up, fired it up, and moved my distributor back to the original location before I pulled it (mark was still there). Problem solved and this is going to run ten times better.

Backpressure should not cause your conditions, it can change tuning though and maybe the carb can't compensate for some reason.
Glad its running correctly now either way.

Well, got a cheap 2004 Sebring pulley in. Garbage machining on these new products. Had to sand down the inside.
Pulley is also plastic.
Belt is 37”.
