Big Dumb Loads

There are three primary reasons:

1. Purchasing/Leasing the absolute cheapest truck possible.

2. Owner/ Lease Operators pay for their tractor's maintenance and would be more likely to use the Johnny Bar to hold the truck back going down grades, burning the company's trailer brakes up.

3. Trainees don't need anything else to distract them from the basics they were taught in school.
4. It's nearly impossible to text and operate the trailer brake lever at the same time.

Why delete it though? Don't trust steering wheel holders not to drag the trailer around empty with the brake set?
To be fair there is a story of why some ******s cant handle trucks with them in the stupid stuff at work TP thread. Since its my story i can take it out the park. When i worked at the beer place one of our newer class A guys got to drive the older more experienced guys new rig and trailer (both sub 6 months old) while he was out. He caught them both on fire about 30 miles from the warehouse and totalled the trailer and put the truck in rebuild for awhile. He bumped the trolley brake just enough to set it barely on and thought the trailer was just "heavy". Kept driving till he noticed a glow. Pulled over and it burst into flames and burned until the trailer folded in the middle.

Look at the flex on that beaver tail.

I think they’re important bc sometimes if the trailer walks out you can spike the trolley and get the combo back straight to avoid a jackknife type wreck. Not sure if they teach this still or if newer guys know to do it?

Just wonderin if you taught that in yer lil cdl farm. Surprise surprise bare minimum....

**** you dip****

custimer pays 60 dollars for an oil change, he gets cheap dyno oil and cjeap filter. he pays 120, he gets fully synthetic and OEM filter

FWIW tho we are trying to get government funded applicants (ex cons, rehab, etc). Those we will be billing 2x the amount, and you bet, they will be getting the complete package, including alley dock, night driving, etc. **** self paying cheap **********ers like yourself, I rather bill 2x and teach the full package. But business is business, I have to feed my family too.

you get what you pay for, moron. when people pay up the full amount, they get the full package. or you want 120 hours of behind the wheel training with fuel 8.50/gallon, employee salaries of 30/hour, and a tuition fee of under 3k?

🤬
