SooooI just saw that. All the liberal news articles I read were fear mongering people into thinking that these bigger trucks with non CDL drivers are going to kill bus loads of nuns and school children at a rapid rate.![]()
I don't see how it is any bigger, as they already have the F550-based 26' "supermover." The only thing it comes with is a couple thousand pounds greater GVWR, but the box dimensions are just about identical.![]()
Also u haul is now renting 26k trucks.

can an f550 get 26000 gvw? I thought my 2018 ram 5500 is 19500 (crew cab 84" 4x4)

Look at the distance between the rear wheel well and the front of the bed. That's a 6.5' bed. What bed length?
Thats what I was thinking but not sure. Im guessing that is minimum for a GN so my 5.5 ft bed won't work.Look at the distance between the rear wheel well and the front of the bed. That's a 6.5' bed.
brass is really lightweight, sorta like pop cans, just a ton of airspaceI misread what DRTDEVL said. yes it is another 3 tons of GVWR, which ain't nothing when you're loading it door to wall with drums of brass 😂

Pretty sure it would work fine... probably also depends on the trailer but I can turn way way past 90*Thats what I was thinking but not sure. Im guessing that is minimum for a GN so my 5.5 ft bed won't work.
Do they make those for anything other than the 2.5" square drop in?Depending on the weight you are looking to pull they also make offset GN balls. I think 3-4" is pretty standard.
It’s just a plate welded to a drop in with a ball welded to it.Do they make those for anything other than the 2.5" square drop in?
I've seen them. I was asking if they make them for the fancy new round shank stuff. It’s just a plate welded to a drop in with a ball welded to it.
I was always pretty happy with the old b and w stuff.I've seen them. I was asking if they make them for the fancy new round shank stuff.
The answer is yes but they're ******ed and require extra brackets you probably don't want to install every time you use it. And they cost a ****ton more. Simple old **** for the win.

I just got fork extensions. If the town gets after me about my lot again I might have something that looks real similar to this
