SxS Picture Thread!

My son, wife, MIL, and I broke away and ran around the Ozarks for a couple days...the few days right after a good rain is always the best.

Dammit, well done!! We were there all last week, and everything was pretty damned dry. All the rain started on Saturday where we were. Man, do I love that part of the world!

We were supposed to be there Thursday-Sunday and postponed our trip to Sunday-Tuesday...perfect weather/trails and nobody out there. Mid-week trips may be our new go-to. Yea, that whole area is one of my happy places...I'd love to find a few acres in the Mill Creek area.

Its nice to know that the chassis of the toys we are paying big money for look like something a 5 year old with an erector set dreamed up and welded together himself..... :shaking:
I'll take a quick video the next time I put together a 4 seat machine. There is 0 chassis rigidity without the cage installed. On some machines I have to jack them up by the center point until the wheels are fully off the ground to even get the bolt holes to line up.

They brought in most of the snakes in the pit. The guy said they had been hunting since January. A lot of them were from Texas. A buddy was down there hunting and caught a 6 footer. Was small compared to some in the pit.

Not a sxs, but its named the same... :homer: scooped a 1999 wolverine 350 4x4 after work for 500 bones to sit in the garage beside my wolverine rmax 1000. Runs great wiring is a little fuct but fixable, extremely similar engine to a 98 warrior I had 25 years ago. After riding newer atvs, itsfunny to realize how sketch a mildy strong 350 4stroke is in a 27 year old utility atv chassis... sumbitch has 6 gears and ive only hit 4 of them on the farm

Ol sierra doesnt looks too bad for having a quarter million miles on it either... :grinpimp:

those things were so cool back in the day. Growing up, my neighbor had one and whipped it to death every weekend. i think they had big issues with stators. i remember him changing a couple

Nightmare project is nearly done. Waiting on bodywork to get back from getting wrapped so I can button it up. Doesn't have the shocks on it, still have to add a rear bumper, front bumper extension and a lightbar.

A couple videos from disney this weekend. Cialis is a whole different animal when it's wet at the bottom. Had the best night ride on Saturday. We found some really long steep nasty hills that haven't been climbed by anyone for a long time.

Jeep or Bronco isn't going to do the kind of speeds an Xpedition can over most terrain without making you piss blood, unless you spend $80k+ on a Bronco Raptor and even then I don't know.
Can confirm. I have a JL with Fox 2.5s, hydro bumps, etc and it’s not even remotely comparable to the Xpedition even when it was stock.

I don't see anybody beating on $50k Expeditions anywhere I have wheeled. That crowd is sitting at the bottom or top of the hill with the AC or heat on sealed up tight in their freshly detailed yuppie cocoons sipping beverages watching everyone else.

Im about ready to pull the trigger on a new hd11. I agree that it's dumb but **** it. It will more than likely be my daily driver plus perform snowplow duties at the shop so will be a tax write off.

Don't do it. I know Slowpoke will disagree but get a Polaris. Or a kawi, or something else Japanese.

Too late. Picking it up Saturday. No way in hell would I willingly buy a polaris. The guys we ride with that have rzrs break **** constantly. I sell sxs parts out of my shop and I have only sold polaris engines. I know a bunch of people.that have bought of moto u10 pro highlands and they are nice. Didn't want a Chinese machine either. Was going to wait for the hvac.pioneers to come.out but that's looking.lime fall at best.

Best of luck, hopefully it'll be good for you. We've replaced more Can Am engines in the 3 years we've sold them than Polaris engines in the 8 years I've been where I am.

Keep a spare air filter in the machine at all times and check it often. More often than you think is necessary. If you drive gravel roads or any other fine dusty conditions, I'd pull your air filter and tap the dust off after every ride. Or put a snorkel kit on it honestly.

3 seat or 6 seat? If it's a 6 seat, prepare for the doors to fall out of adjustment after your first couple of rides. They're currently working on a fix for it.

The Honda will be nice but also a disappointment, because that's what Honda does best. I can already tell you it has less ground clearance than everything else because it still only has 27" tires.

The air filter will be addressed first thing. Don't think I haven't been paying attention to your posts. Most of the engine issues have been from dirty air filter correct? I hope it runs as good as the u10 pros. If it does i won't do a tune right away and void the warranty.
