Big Dumb Loads

We're already dealing with incredibly intellectual people here.

Way too smart to just let it stick out of an open trunk like us dum-dums. Could even fold down the back seat so it doesn't stick out as far.

But then we wouldn't get be an oversized load mother trucker like those cool cats.
I have been assured by top men all you need to haul anything properly is a subie wagon. Who exactly you ask? I repeat: "top men"

I helped my uncle out this weekend, he was going to borrow his neighbors truck for a lumber run, I said lets just throw it on my subaru. A ladder, 20 12' 2x4's, 6 2x6's and a dozen 5/4" planks all fit on without issue. It was just an around town trip, highway can be risky as my cousin found out when the sheet of plywood had enough uplift to yank the crossbars off the rack rails of his Forester. Moral of that story is loop the straps through the windows on big air drag loads. I also have double crossbars on mine to spread the load out a bit more. Threw 450# of scrap 6" C channel up there the other week.

Don't know the story behind it, but someone had a bad day.

Lol I have 6 trucks but almost always use my ****box subaru. Especially a 2hr trip over to my Uncles. People shake their heads at me for using one of my antique trucks to haul **** too, apparently they shouldn't be used for what they were built to do once they are a "classic"?
I hauled a ****ing ton of **** in the back and for that matter front seats of the merc i sold bad zuki. Say nothing of the trunk. Like hauled home 10 scrap fenders and filled in all the little airspace gaps in the interior with random metal levels of scrap. Garaunteed that car worked harder than most people on heres F Jaun Fiddy.

that Gatormade hardly looks hurt.
truck looks SRW. Not much in plastic pipe if that's what I think it is but that's about 16k of trailer alone isn't it? Hard to tell but I think it's dual tandem

Single car wreck, took a nap and caught the cable arrestors and stuffed the nose of the truck. I really hate that those things are right against one side of the road instead of out in the middle of the median. Give a sleepy guy a chance to save it and learn a cheaper lesson eh? I was sleeping in the back seat once during a brief driver nap and a median excursion in Oklahoma. I heard HOLD ON and didn't have much to hold on to. No harm done. I'm very glad there wasn't a cable arrestor there, looking like that woulda hurt.

Not a big dumb load, but a farmer went by last night with a gator, round bale, and dead cow on his flatbed.

I think i would have not strapped the cow and somewhere on the way to town made a hard righthand turn , as round looking as that cow is i think it would flop over and roll out . who drives around with a dead cow like that ?
