Been using it lately and hadnt heard about it til a neighbor told me a few years ago.
Use a shop vac when digging post holes to get the dirt out of the hole. Much faster with me using the digging bar and the kid sucking all the first out than using post hole digger

One of these magnetic helping hands things seems to work good so far as a flexible pointer on my bender/degree wheel.
They are small, and the magnet is strong enough to hold it in place. I plan to replace the clip with a piece of aluminum tig rod to get a more precise pointer.

I saw this tip here but unsure of the thread… maybe it’s inside this one but for the sake of posting… the no swag no problem version of a vertical bandsaw. Apparently the foot doesn’t easily remove off of my unit… I really dislike the swag setup for my model of saw.

For right now (until you build a table) instead of clamping your saw like you are, clamp it by the tee handle at the top of the saw. Put that in the vise, and let the saw droop until the back of the saw bumps against the vise. (the tee handle is clamped sideways in the vise).
This way your saw is well supported, not just hanging by that flimsy blade guard thing.

think this fits here. my jack was being a bastard for some time, one of the pistons was only returning back up halfway. thought it was the metal sleeve cover thing bent, so I yanked it off but no dice
found this video and tried it before I went to HF and spent $200 on a new jack. Works perfect again. I'd sprayed the damn thing with lube a bunch of times and i saw no signs of contamination when I pulled the piston out but something was in there binding it up. Cleaned it off, topped off the jack with compressor oil or whatever I had kicking around, and good to go
so no new tool :( but I saved myself $200 so a win?

Heck of a lot easier hydraulic fluid in the dozer's transmission like this than with a funnel and pouring from a 5 gallon bucket.
Haven't burned it up yet running at 20V.

I did same thing with a m12 adapter for fuel pump from a boat tank like vice grip garage does to get non running vehicles going.

I don't have a Chinese gear pump to compare it to.
I once had a gear pump you chuck in a cordless drill from Northern or HF or similar and it sucked at sucking.

Yeah the drill gear pumps always suck. I had a hand pump I used for hydraulic oil in tractors before but I'll try my electric pump next time I need to do more than a gallon or two

I work alone a lot and have to find a way to make **** stay in place when I need to measure/mark stuff. Making gussets and it was 4”x1/2” flat bar I had to notch. Measure and mark the gap and it will fit right. It’s hard to see but there is a flat bar with another acting as a stop at the bottom to hold it like is shown. You can see it in the 2nd picture

I do that fairly often. Tack scrap holders to fit parts, then knock off and flapwheel when done.

I did not think 1.25” pvc conduit would bend this easy….
YouTube showed people heating it up until it flopped around like a spaghetti noodle with a propane torch. I was able to make these bends with a good heat gun and no kinks!
What you are looking with one solid stick is:
1 S Bend
1 90° bend
1 45° bend
Looks way cleaner than buying elbows and 4 less junction points where the conduit can leak

have seen guys use a weed burner on a propane tank for bending conduit. Surprised me the first time I saw somebody do that

One man’s junk is another man’s treasure. I’ve been looking for a used snap-on body hammer. While not strap on… customer said here have this one I’ll never use it. It sure polished up nice.
The polishing video I watched is from “Make it Custom” aka JAP HANDS.
He’s stolen a few hours of my life on YouTube for sure and makes some cool ****. I do not have a buffing wheel station and probably could have polished it better. Used a random orbit to sand it and hand polished with Wurth p10
