Fabrication tips and tricks

For accurate work, an oversized black sharpie can be used like Blue Dykem, put it on broad and black it out, and use a scratch awl to mark your pattern. Makes for far more accurate lines than any soapstone or paint pen

I use a piece of angle to mark a reference line on tube. The tube will kinda fit into the angle and you just run your marker down it. I also marked the center of my notcher V-block for a quick reference point.

These bad boys are a game changer. Mark 3 reference points on straight and bent pieces.
