This may interest Archer and 70 tp aswell.
Edit and Chadwick

We are checking the sand that we use for our gravel pack in our wells. It was supposed to be less than 10% pass through a size 20 mesh or .031. It has 20% pass through so it passes through our .032 slot perforated well casing :shaking:.

It looks like it. Not a fan of those shakers. The rotary ones do a better job and not as hard on the screens. Make sure the stack is nice and tight so they are not slamming together. Also make sure the sand is dry. I use a turkey fryer and cook it until it is dust. Make sure you let it cool before putting it in the screens so you don’t loosen the screens up.

Why do you use sand packing vs just a buckshot packing?

Where do you get your sand from now? How much is it?

Thank-you for the imput.
We keep our sand dry, if we have to check earth samples we will dry them in an oven.

I'm not sure what buckshot packaging is, but if we use coarser sand even 8x16 our wells will pump the natural sand that is our aquifer, we don't want that.

I gotcha you are using it as a filter media. What size you supposed to be getting now?

I don't use them AT ALL.

The #1 reason is I Chromecast everything I do with YouTube, and if you try to watch one it forces a disconnect from the Chromecast, which, half the time, makes getting reconnected a little hassle
