CA WTB bearing splitter / clamp

They could use it and could rebuild the transmission but they recently stopped rebuilding manuals and will have nothing to do with them, I'm assuming that the splitter I procured from them would work on an automatic as well or they would have sold it to me.

On a positive note the threaded puller attachment holes are inch 5/8 fine thread so I might be able to use the splitter to pull the synchro hub.

Never said anything about having them rebuild anything.

Bring your problem parts down and see if they will press shit apart.

Exactly...I have guys who bring stuff down every so often to have something pressed or torched off. Half the time I dont even know what it is, nor do I care

Just bring it down to any machine shop, transmision shop, mechanic with a decent tool room ect and ask them what kind of pizza and beer they like. Tell them you will be back in an hour. Go grab a 12 pack and a large pizza and be done with it. This will put you in good terms for future non money spending transactions. Pretty soon you can just show up with a 12er and that stuborn bearing you need pressed on and everone is happy.
