That's my (limited) experience with wild hogs.

They go nocturnal when the pressure is on (in the woods/swamps).

You can flush them out with a helicopter.

Feral pigs are basically like deer, only smarter. We they get pressure they go nocturnal. When they get a lot of pressure they leave.

In a good low pressure hunting spot (free range/no feeders) you can see 30 deer and/or 30 hogs a day. Ride around fields at night with a spotlight and you see a lot more.

The better the cover, the more they move in the daylight.
