Will Trump go to jail?

Will Trump be incarcerated?

  • Yes, he'll be sentenced to spend time in the clink

  • No, but will be on house arrest with limited travel, etc.

  • No, he'll get a suspended sentence or probation.

  • Trump will prevail and all charges will be overturned bigley!

Results are only viewable after voting.
What happens when he is elected president in November while in jail? Can he pardon himself and get out of jail?
Given how the gov works, he could, once elected, pressure NY State. I'm thinking funding withholding or the like. If a president can cancel student debt after being told he cannot, a lot of other things are on the table.

I've heard that the statute of limitations on the crimes had run out and "the prosecutor/court" used some legal bullshit to get around that.
If that's truly the case I'm betting that will be the #1 reason to appeal.

There are numerous reasons for appeal.

Not on state charges. Frankly I'm surprised that they got guilty on all 34 charges. It's easy to say the fix was in, and obviously this IS politically motivated, but you'd think they'd at least throw a bone on at least one charge.

It was all the same charge. They just decided it up in as many pieces as they could.

NO pardon at Fed level...the crimes are state so only the NY governor can do that. Might add in that to be pardoned Trump has to admit guilt under oath. You think for an instant Trump would do that?

I’ve never heard that you must admit guilt to be pardoned. I don’t think that is law.

need more info, I seem to remember Ford pardoning Nixon who famously stated, "I'm not a crook".

he's like OJ, he won't get jail time for this but eventually he will get popped for something else he did(does) and he'll get like 28 months.

The judge can't resist sending him to jail, he will likely have an orgasm on the stand when he does it. The Jews that turned their Jew neighbors in to the Nazis will also be equally excited when it happens. They will also be shocked later when they are put on the same train.
For the stupid people, Jews references you and your experiencing unintended consequences if any of this makes you happy.

I can't wait to see his picture in a bright orange jump suit. Maybe he will be assigned to picking up trash on the side of the road.
FUCK YOU NEW YORK!. GO TO HELL!:mad3::mad3::mad3::mad3::mad3:

When shit hits the fan (I hope); tar and feathers are in order. :flipoff::flipoff::flipoff::flipoff:

That and they had to stretch the "fraud" to election fraud, without definining the crime, to make it a felony.

Total bullshit

The trial was a show from start to finish. Guilty on 34 counts of a mistimeaner that the statue of limitations ran out on. Somehow elevated to felony status because we have to get Trump.
Judge who was obligated by new York law to recuse himself (his daughter made over 9 million from the biden campaign in 2020 and is fundraising off the trial.
Unconstitutional gag order on only trump.
"Star whitness" Cohen is a known and convicted liar.
There are a shit ton of reasons for it to be overturned 9n appeal. We'll see just how corrupt and in the tank the judicial system in new York is.

I can't vote because at this point nothing would surprise me. BTW you left someone suiciding him off the list.
Somewhere in the political machine some bastard has a migraine worrying about Trump’s fat old ass falling over dead and what a headache it would be dealing with all the people screaming Hillary did it.

That's how I see it. But the discussion is interesting, except for PegGregg, but that's SOP.

well, you called everyone who thinks it will be overturned on appeal "fluffers" so you get what you get. CNN's Eli Honig is a fluffer, in this instance then.

The R's have a majority in The House and they have the votes to sustain a filibuster in the Senate. That bill is D.O.A.

you assume that some Republicans wont "cross the aisle". they will do it if they are coerced. Clown world, all options are on the table.

Trump was going to jail before the trial started. Regardless of what was said or presented.

so you're saying the trial was a sham and was fixed? Rocdoc says you are a Trump fluffer. Good job.

No doubt you’re jerking off to the thought of it happening
I am jerking off.

Why’d you ask?

This don’t stop him from be elected as the 47th president of United States. The constitution don’t say a prisoner cannot be elected into office. And probably will win more votes if jailed due to mass media exposure of a former president going to jail.

And the upmost important part - this makes for a landmark court case. Current and former presidents no longer ‘immune’ to justice. biden :flipoff:

I say it’ll be more disastrous if Trump is acquitted on all charges, pardoned or whatever, as this will effectively means past, current and future presidents are immune to prosecution and a new landmark court case to make presidents prosecutable again likely will not be happening in our lifetime.

1. I see it being overturned as the least likely outcome.

2. It was a joke, lighten up Francis.

3. I find it interesting that all four of the poll options had takers.

The resolution has already been drafted:

H.R. 8081 the DISGRACED Former Protectees Act – or the Denying Infinite Security andGovernment Resources Allocated toward Convicted and Extremely Dishonorable FormerProtectees Act

It's just posturing/saber-rattling and redmeat for the TDSers. I find it amusing that anyone would even believe this could happen, but clown world exists on all sides.
Well, would you be surprised if some 6 years ago would tell you where we are today?
