What's new

Who have the coolest work/shop truck? Post pics!

That thing just bolted to the bed, or it have more support? I think I'd get decent use out of something like that
There's a sub frame I made underneath that sandwiches the bed and ties into the frame, will see if I can find a pic later. As it comes from HF it just bolts to the bed, which is shit.

A friend of mine who isn’t a member here (that I know of) has a Suburban just like that in every way. Runs hunting dogs and lives half the year in North Carolina. User name on pirate was birddog. Thought maybe you were him and he was here and I hadn’t caught it before

Found some old pics today of a mine truck I put together to respond to service calls

I tried to make everything super easy for my guys, relocated compressor key switch to ground level and put an air tank drain there, along with volt meter for the jump pack, and air pressure gauge, hose reel clocked down to reduce tripping, grab handle if a guy needed to climb in the back, raptor liner access panels for def and fuel tanks, pulled the compressor away from the headache rack for compressor maintenance, lights in the toolboxes etc

I'd post my 91 quadcab v35hunnert but she's not going to make it to the party:flipoff2:

been treating this little car motor f150 like shit for a few years and have had zero problems.. approaching 200k, easily climbing the ranks as the most reliable vehicle I’ve owned. Bought it hail damaged for cash, it’s not a show truck

Not possible, those engines can't last longer than 50k.

We have extremely different definitions of "old turd"
This thing was a work truck before me. Over 300k miles. I’ve had some repainting done due to hail damage and some other stuff. It is shined up in that picture. I have older, rougher trucks. But this one by no means is a 100k diesel truck everyone else seems to drive these days.

58 Gmc I got from the og owner l, parked in 82. Intake valves stuck and bent all the pushrods. Got it running and its a champ. Narrowed a big hub 44 4" up front and threw an early eaton I had out back. and threw a divorce mount 202 in it. Scored a set of nos 8.25-19.5 bias plys for some of the wheels I had. I actually drive it alot, and wheel it around the woods. Just finished building an old school canopy for it.

Damn nice, would love to see a build thread and more photos. :smokin:

What is that camper shell?

My work rig is kinda lame being a Savana 2500. My work truck at home is pretty fun though. Have added a hitch since this pic to pull shit around the property.
