Several years ago Dad's peach tree was loaded and the fruit was ready to pick. He decides he's gonna pick all the peaches one day but had to run over to my sister's place about 5 miles away. gets back about 2-3 hours later and someone had stripped that tree. He said you could see the tire tracks across the lawn where they drove between his house and shop to get to the tree. He never did find out who did it but he still brings it up occasionally and fumes over it.

he caught a local kid (20ish yo guy) picking his asparagus one day. Dad coudln't figure out why he wasn't getting any one year.. He's walking across the driveway and this kid is in Dad's yard picking, Dad said WTF do you think you're doing?! Kid looks at him and said if you aren't gonna pick it I am! Dad told him GTFO of my yard and give me that.. Kid goes home to daddy and whines to him that Dad chewed his ass. then his dad chewed his ass some more.. lol
 
I've heard a copper nail/ spike is a great way to slowly kill a tree.
 
there is an app called "picture this", you can use the free trail to identify any type of tree or plant.
 
That looks like a Chinese Pistachio. Another week and the leaves will make it obvious. Dont cut it down you clueless hack, Rage against nature somewhere else.:flipoff2: It offers nothing ? Uhhh I know they have some weird laws about trees there. Tree protection ordinances but I think they only apply to properties bigger than 2-3? Acres

Uh, uh, how long you been there in that sweet suburban enclave ? I ask because there may HAVE been leaves on it. Can you tell us ? Do leaves come out every spring ? Or is that thing dead, or are you just incapable of posting anything intelligent ?

Been here two months, thought it was dead until it started having this shit that hangs for a day and then falls. NO leaves.

i did find A leaf, photo attached. But thats the mess on the ground, day after i cleaned it all up.

Called the city, looks like a whole process. Hopefully someone backs into it, but, hard to do because everyone is always home.
