What's new

Well? Whos winning?

The first thing I heard when I started playing that video was Walter saying "water only changes phase at 2 temperatures. At 0 degrees it turns to ice and at 212 degrees it turns to vapor". Whole lotta brain power going on there :homer:

I tried but I just couldn't keep going after that :lmao:

And yet another thing they'd be wrong about...

That was the first thing that came to my mind, was he the one person who didn't see the demonstration in middle school science class where they boiled water at room temp in a vacuum?

Getting his units of measure mixed up was just the icing on the cake :lmao:

skeptical? they are easily verified numbers widely reported. wtf
Lazyness. Wanted to package it up. But yeah, I went and made my own(EDIT- updated some stuff for my own amusement):

Worth noting: final tallies aren't finished in some states, so the 2024 numbers will go up:

How the hell is AZ still at < 70% counted? they still filling out ballots for the D senator that Kari Lake is running against?
Arizona law requires an automatic re-count on races that are within .5%. I don't think the POTUS race is close enough to enact that, but they may be doing some recounts on other issues, and waiting till they can release all results.

A recount must be performed following a general, primary, special, or recall election if the margin of votes, based on the official canvass, between the two candidates receiving the highest number of votes for a particular office, or the votes cast for and against a ballot measure, are equal to 1/2 of 1% or less of the total number of votes cast for the top two candidates or the ballot measure in question. A.R.S. § 16-661(A)

Maybe you can find enough patriots to boot that POS to Cuba where he belongs.

Following Donald Trump's presidential victory early Wednesday morning, those of us who have been following the lawfare involving the former (and now future) president closely began pondering what this might mean for the pending legal matters — particularly those instituted by Special Counsel Jack Smith.

Well, now we know: The Department of Justice has indicated it intends to "wind down" the federal cases against Trump ahead of him taking office.

Justice Department officials have been evaluating how to wind down the two federal criminal cases against President-elect Donald Trump before he takes office to comply with longstanding department policy that a sitting president can’t be prosecuted, two people familiar with the matter tell NBC News.
The latest discussions stand in contrast with the pre-election legal posture of special counsel Jack Smith, who in recent weeks took significant steps in the election interference case against Trump without regard to the electoral calendar.
But the sources say DOJ officials have come to grips with the fact that no trial is possible any time soon in either the Jan. 6 case or the classified documents matter — both of which are mired in legal issues that would likely prompt an appeal all the way to the Supreme Court, even if Trump had lost the election.
Now that Trump will become president again, DOJ officials see no room to pursue either criminal case against him — and no point in continuing to litigate them in the weeks before he takes office, the people said.
“Sensible, inevitable and unfortunate,” said former federal prosecutor Chuck Rosenberg, an NBC News contributor.

Oh.

Oh, in that case, I suppose we'll move along to something else...

Say, you don't suppose this lays bare the fact that these were primarily political prosecutions, do you?

Alright, well, that answers that. I guess we won't be writing tons more about the classified documents and the 2020 election (federal version) cases.

Of course, this leaves us to ponder what will happen with the sentencing in the Manhattan/Alvin Bragg case — you know, the one that branded Trump a "convicted felon" — the Georgia election interference case, the civil fraud appeal (will Arthur Engoron be vindicated or shamed?!), and the E. Jean Carroll appeals. At least we'll still have those to chew on.

Maybe. Maybe not.

Looks like Trump can add another win (two, really) to his column.

I may live in commiefornia and this state blows, everyone I talked to here voted Trump. How Garvey lost to schiff is beyond me. I was hoping for more from this state. But glad I woke up to good news.
This.

I honestly think Hillary is more likable that Schiff. I would spend a weekend with Hillary over Schiff 100 times out of 100.

I really can't think of a more piece of shit human in politics.

history has proven she knows how to party. i would also choose her over Schiff.

If people would stop lying about what I said or did I'd stop calling them names that they deserve for doing so.
I thought you told everyone who you voted for this morning? I like to talk shit too, but I swear this was subject was over hours ago. Why is the dead horse still getting beaten

He's waiting for the supreme court to make a ruling on this matter
