What's new

Well? Whos winning?

theyve locked it down, cant reply. cowards

It's good to look in on the opposing side from time to time to better understand the level of insane delusion they operate under.

What's interesting here is this is probably, hopefully, the end of this generation of Democrats political careers. The DNC has a lot of retooling to do. It'll be interesting to see how that plays out.

The hardcore woke, anti common sense lunacy clearly fell flat and was decisively turned down. The GOP, for all it's faults, has fully shifted to Trumpism, for better or worse. Their retooling has already happened.

Dem snip 1
This is not the end. It is the end of the beginning.
Much worse is yet to come.
What little hope Gaza might have had is dead.
Ukraine will fall to Putin. NATO will be dealt a body blow. The Saudis will be well-armed to put down their neighbors. The bloody dictators know that they just have to wait until the new year. From now, peace will only come when the boot of the despot quiets those it crushes.
In America, our most cherished principles are now branded for a slow death. The government will be fatally compromised, infused with political and criminal operatives throughout, as Project 2025 comes out of hiding and terminally compromises any semblance of objectivity, fairness, decency, or hope.
The Supreme Court will likely be locked down with two new young justices to replace the two aging right-wingers-even more if any of the liberals pass-but formative conservative control over all law will be prescribed for decades to come. They will become even more brazen in rewriting the constitution to their depraved will. The federal courts will be flooded with corrupt sycophants like Cannon, who will herself likely be amply rewarded for keeping Trump's power alive, rewarded maybe even with one of those very Supreme Court seats.

Snip 2
Meanwhile, the next "election" will be so riddled with corruption rubber-stamped by Trump's courts that the unjustly disproportionate stranglehold that conservatives already possessed, granted by their slaveholder ancestors, will become a death grip on democracy, choking the life out of justice and freedom.
Worse, if republicans take the House along with the Senate and the White House, the filibuster will be quickly rescinded, and a torrent of perverted right-wing despotic abuses will be unleashed-a nationwide ban on abortion and cruel punishment for anyone at all associated with prenatal care for a dying woman will be first and foremost, payback for the heartlessly cruel and feckless Christian nationalists who handed Trump back his power.
Expect the separation of Church and State to fall next, paving the way for state-sponsored religious proselytizing and persecution. Don't be surprised if gay and trans people become legal pariahs, treated like garbage. Anticipate science to be shackled and bent to a religious will. Expect runaway capitalism to go on a killing spree, both figuratively and literally.
Expect the majority of Americans to become little more than modern serfs, slaves in all but name, lacking only chains. And that'll only be the start.

And while Trump's supporters will hail this with nauseatingly sickening euphemisms such as
"Democracy" and "Freedom," it will be a true dictatorship in form and function-something that Trump supporters will revel in, because it's their dictatorship, doing what they want, and hurting the people they want to hurt. And they're not only okay with that, they embrace it fully. Or at least they will until Trump and his successors no longer need their votes, and so most will fall prey and become victims themselves. And that will be all of what little justice will be seen anytime soon.
This is not a screed. It is the low keen of mourning, a lament for the nation I was raised to recognize as the best hope for the world. The country I love has been mortally wounded, and will soon be unrecognizable. This election was its death knell.
The enemy within now has too much power to ever really be defeated. They will hold down the country with their oppressive weight and violate it, its hope and promise drowned.
My country is dying, killed by a large contingent of its own people, some too foolish to know the evil they have unleashed, but all too many perfectly aware of their crime, willing to smugly spit on the very concept of empathy.
This is the sin of dominance, the root of all evil in the world.

That is fucking hard to read. Clearly a highly educated person but reality is completely detached from any of that fucking rambling. I don’t understand how a person with that high verbal intelligence can be a cheerleader for the party that’s doing most of the things he is accusing the other side of.

We need a national IQ test in order to vote.

It was a clean R sweep in MT, we finally fired our only Dem Senator after 3 terms :shaking:. But our are state gov and federal reps are all Republicans now. We had huuuuuuge Dem money spent in MT this election cycle, around $150 per voter just on the Senate race.

Scrolling through the state-by-state results, what's the deal with the tens of thousands of votes for RFK?

Disillusioned Dems that couldn't bring themselves to push the red button?

One of the hosts on ABC mentioned that. If Thomas and Alito decide to retire they could be replaced by much younger justices, and if any of the liberal judges retire or die it could end up being a 7-2 split. And if any of that happens within the next two years, with control of the House and Senate, Trump's picks would breeze right through.

Trump wouldn't need "The House" to get SCOTUS picks in, just the Senate. The House doesn't get a say in that.

We can only dream.

That said, we taking bets yet on how long until the next assassination attempt takes place?

I was at a local supermarket yesterday, Fred Meyer, and they were advertising a sale on beef chuck pot roasts, $6.36/lb.
I did a hard pass on that. Like you we're eating a lot of chicken and pork. We look for what's on sale, break it down to meal
sized portions, use a vacuum sealer and freeze it.

Please keep buying beef. you will support my kids and our life and retirement

I'm not excited about trump, I'm excited about how the whole country said no to the crazy left wing crap the last 4 years.

im excited about the team he can put together. also, This is really a repudiation of the media lies and narrative, it dealt them a blow that they cant create a person out of nothing and they cant get away with lying constantly about another person they hate.

this was a huge FU to the media and i hope they choke on it.

I see that as a distinct possibility. Also, how about this scenario, Biden pardons Hunter, then resigns, making Kameltoe POTUS and she
pardons Joe Biden. It'd be the last :flipoff: to Trump.

this is what should happen if they have any sense at all. Biden will pardon Hunter but I dont know if anyone has the wherewithal to get Biden to design and take a pardon. He's just lucid enough to put up a fight and NOT go on TV and actually resign.
